I ordered this through DoorDash and honestly, I will never again. The fact that they thought so little of the opportunity to serve food to people they’d never see that they hopelessly figured they could send virtual trash to an unsuspecting customer, it’s business ruining. It ruined Tops future business as well as DoorDash’s. What I received from Tops was nothing but fat and grizzle. When I complained, they didn’t even say sorry- or offer to make it right. Disgusting “food” and even worse service. I recommend anywhere but Tops. You all should just turn off DoorDash and consider revamping your food and your service. I am asked all the time about where to go for good things, and this is not it!

7 MONTHS later, I couldn’t recall why I haven’t gone to Tops. So I go thru the drive thru… and they hand me THIS disgusting monstrosity, a completely inedible brisket sandwich that was literally ALL grizzle. Like: what was that? A dead homeless person’s carcass? I threw it away. It’s not gotten better. It’s gotten WORSE. How is that possible? Close your doors, you are a horrific embarrassment to all southern barbecue. Disgusting. Pictures included. The macaroni was the only edible part of this $25 meal. No kidding.

for many years topps at stateline rd was my favorite. looks like im not the only one that’s noticed the decline lately.
yesterday we ordered the family 6 pack at the drive thru. when we got home found six stale buns, under smoked shoulder meat (it wasn’t pullable so they cut it up in square chunks with a knife, i know because i’ve made that mistake on my own smoker), half of the meat in the tray was just big chunks of fat we couldn’t eat, and they forgot the baked beans. i spent $32 on three sandwiches. bet it won’t happen again

Ordering a burger at a pork BBQ establishment was awesome. Who would have thought that it would be so delicious. Hand patty turkey burger seasoning was awesome. The best burger ever. Actually my burger wasn’t as tasty as Tops. Staff was awesome and very accommodating as it was closing time. Food was cooked to order and was fresh.

We are traveling through. It was OK. The best part was the mac n cheese. Beans weren’t bad. The ribs were good, it would have been better with sauce. But the employees aren’t the friendliest to ask for any, because it’s behind the counter. I love that they had Kool-aid available, so I missed it with Sprite, Yum! Price was good. Central BBQ wins overall though.

For our big dinner on Thanksgiving day my family chose Tops barbecue. And they chose this location due to the flavor and Jason. The service and the quality of food is like no other tops barbecue. I live nowhere near the store, but I will drive to this one to get this food.
Jason went out of his way to make sure everything was done to perfection and I am forever grateful. We will be back probably sooner than later. I 100% recommend this store over all other tops locations

I recently ordered from Tops Bar-B-Q Stateline located at 313 Stateline Rd W in Southaven, MS, through DoorDash, and I wanted to share my experience. Overall, it was a decent meal, but there were some highlights and a few areas for improvement.

I really enjoy going to eat here. Every time I go, everyone is very nice and courteous.My food is brought to me orderly manner. The cashier named Brynnan has started to know my order before I even order it.I really like that and appreciate it. I really like eating tops.I go to this one has become one of my favorite ones to go to I even bring my kids and stop here and eat occasionally. I think anybody in the memphis or area should eat tops at least once in their life.

I love this place and the food is great. I had an issue with an order and I encountered a rude worker in the back a short black women with a bad mouth. I explained my order to the cashier that I received the wrong burger on my order and the woman in the back started getting hostile about making a mistake. I made it very apparent that I did not like her attitude to the cashier, because I called before I came in and was very polite about the mistake and I shouldn’t be treated like that period and I’m a paying customer.If the manager sees this, the young lady works during the day and she chops the brisket that goes on the burgers. I am at drive thru, I asked for jumbo pork hot combo, I should have checked my order before I left, but I did not, getting back to work , I took one bite , and immediately took it out of my mouth! It is horrible, I called the store, talked with the manager, explained the above to her, she asked me if I wanted her to remake my sandwich! I told her no I will never be back to eat anything from Tops! Now they have increased their prices and the food looks like what I received!
