Really disappointed in the level of customer service from the late shift crew there. Had a carryout order put in several hours before pickup time, which was just before closing, and arrived for pickup and find the store closed. Called customer service and come to find out one of the employees canceled my order and failed to inform me of such. So not only did I waste a half hour round trip for nothing……my crew at work also didn’t get the meal they were told was coming. Thanks a million!

Was one of my favorite places to order. But today, the website will not let us choose this store for ordering. Tried to call the number, and got some call center in India! They were gonna try to take my order and then repeated what I already knew…. The website won’t let this location be chosen.
I remember the days of calling toppers and getting the clever hold tracks that would always be hilarious. Now a call center. Sad. I won’t be ordering again. Hire local help!

I ordered a triple order of OG still and got a triple order of OG stirs with no cheese on them. When I reached out to them to complain they refused to fix the issue and blamed us for it. So now I am out the money and have an upset kid. Why would anyone order a triple without cheese? Why can’t you just fix the mistake and move on? Is dough and cheese really worth more then making a customer happy? I want my money back. I don’t want gift cards or any free stuff. I want for management to be held accountable for the horrible customer service! I am going to scream from the roof top how horrible toppers is from this day forward. I will let any and everyone know that is the worst. Why would you even risk a bad review over dough and cheese?

I ordered a thin crust (asked for square cut , they didn’t do it) with 3 toppings. I received an over cooked, topping lacking, stale, almost inedible pizza from a store 8 minutes from my house. They not only charge 4.99 for delivery, but they tack on a gratuity charge! They don’t even hire their own drivers anymore either. C’mon, Toppers you used to be so much better than this.

I ordered my pizzas and topper stix ahead of time with the manager Josh. He was very helpful and accommodating on the phone order, as I was very specific on my order with square cut pieces! When I arrived to pick up the pizzas, everything was just as I had order it and very hot! The supreme pizzas and topper stix were excellent! I would highly recommend this pizza place!

I wanted to try the new pan pizza, so I ordered one for take out. Arrived to the store about 15 minutes later. I walked into the store and found no one. No employee in the kitchen area, behind the counter, or by the oven. I could see my pizza reached the end of the oven belt and was just sitting there, even though my order was marked “Ready” on the screen by the counter. Store was also playing explicit hip hop music through the speakers, which was fine with me, but probably not with a customer with a family.
I waited about 10 minutes, yelled “hello” twice before the employee came out of the office area. No urgency and no “sorry for the wait”. He bumbled back by the oven, gave my pizza a push back into the oven and stated it would be another minute. After a few minutes, he boxed and brought out my pizza, which had a giant burnt bubble that ruined 1/4th of the pizza. Guy was slurring, not speaking very clearly. Gave me the impression that he could’ve been under the influence of something. He ended up having to remake the pizza, which is fine and what I expected. New pizza came out in a decent time and looked better. I couldn’t tell in the store but when I opened the box at home, I believe he gave me the wrong type of pepperoni. I asked for thick cut pepperoni and he gave me the regular kind. The pizza was good, but the service turned me off. Most likely won’t come back

I went here last week for the first time. If you’re expecting a sit down place to eat, this really isn’t it. It has a table and some chairs to sit down but doesn’t feel comfortable. The guy that took our order (Dennis) was average, not bad also not amazing, we told him we’ve never been here before and he didn’t say anything about the menu so didn’t know what were good choices to try or specials so we just stuck to the basic, he also had some sport game playing loud in the back so sitting down to eat just wasn’t for me, we just ate in the car instead. The one thing I’ll have to say that was gross he never wash his hands before making our pizza and I watched all the stuff he touch before making it. The pizza was good, I wouldn’t say it was something to talk about. Overall, I can’t see myself coming back. I’ll give it a 3 out of 5

Loaded Tater tots were not warm and bland. Thin crust style pizza is truly cracker thin, be prepared. My first experience and I wasn’t impressed compared to so many other pizza places. I don’t think I’ll return.

Was excited to try Topper’s for the first time as I had gone to the Watertown one to get pizzas for our football teams during an away game, & they were amazing to work with & the pizza smelled so good!
Went to Janesville Topper’s, put in our order:
Meat Topper large
add pineapple & roasted garlic
Garlic herb crust
Single order of 3 cheese Topper’s sticks
= amlost $40
Had a longer wait as we understood they looked short staffed. Finally got our food, took it home…..no meat & no garlic herb crust, just pineapple & roasted garlic with a plain crust.
When we realized our pizza was incorrect, I called the number provided on the website thinking it was the Janesville store, but it was actually some answering service in India who told me the same thing the store employees told me when I finally got transferred to the actual store. What a waste of time & money for the company, makes no sense.They offered to make me a new pizza, but we weren’t going to come back into town, so they did offer a full refund which we are waiting to see if it went through.
The staff was nice & the reason for the 2 stars, but that is the only positive I have to say about this place. The manager or owner may want to explain to your staff why you have the gloves on top of the pizza making station, or that washing their hands before making pizzas & after touching all the computers & scratching their heads is important. As a result of all of this we will never return to Topper’s or reccomend the Janesville store.
