DoorDash screwed up and made us wait over an hour just to cancel the order on us. I drove down to this location and (if I’m honest here… very rudely) asked for them to make our order. They were so kind and genuinely helpful at getting us our food I was so ashamed of the way I spoke to the man who was helping us. I don’t know if you guys read these but whoever was the night manger on 12/23 thank you. You were much nicer than I deserved and your kindness was very much appreciated tonight, thanks again!

Ordered two vegan pizzas via delivery. Delivery driver was friendly.

But one pizza clearly had all kinds of actual meat on it.

My roommate called to ask for a refund and after a bunch of silence were told to call back in the morning when the manager was there.

After it was explained due to work schedule conflicts that this wouldn’t work, my roommate asked if they could take down a note for the manager or if they could just send the correct pizza that was PAID for. The guy on the phone said that they were too busy for it and then hung up on them.

Rude and unprofessional. If customers pay for a product we deserve to get what we paid for. In the past, other Toppers locations have made right when an error was made, without hesitation, without the manager even getting involved.

We ended up physically driving to the store to ask for a replacement. First employee handed us off to another guy. He seemed skeptical and hesitant to make it right until I explained I have an allergy. Then he said we would have to wait a half hour. Meanwhile the other pizza is getting cold while we wait.

Whoever that employee is (It’s 2/22 and currently 7 pm. Order was placed some time ago, maybe late 5 ish? 6 something? ) he needs to be retrained on customer service because this is absolutely ridiculous.

We paid for specific food, you messed it up and then handled it poorly. Do your job right. That’s what you’re getting paid for, isn’t it?

They completely doused my pizza in hot honey. Like completely. There was a straight up layer of it on my pizza when all I ordered was a light drizzle and it was borderline inedible. I had to wipe layers off of my pizza and it’s still completely drenched, it was genuinely disgusting. The picture provided is AFTER I wiped several layers off of the pizza. That’s not grease. That’s all hot honey. I’m just genuinely confused on how they managed to completely submerge my pizza in hot honey, it was genuinely on every corner of every slice in thick layers.

Manager Josh called to ask if I received my order that was being delivered by Uber Eats and explained that he would have the food made again and delivered quickly. He apologized for the inconvenience and kept me updated. I appreciate the contact when he noticed and issue and corrected it properly.

I grabbed a pepperoni pizza from the store. It was super hot, fresh, and loaded with pepperoni. Joshua was an awesome employee, and the customer service at this toppers was top-notch! Definitely coming in again.

First time trying Toppers, very disappointed. Upon picking up my carry out order, I noticed kitchen hygiene concerns, including witnessing employees bounce between the register and cooking food without wearing gloves or washing hands, among other missteps. Our order was also incorrect.
Ultimately, I ended up with nasty food poisoning.

I received horrible service by im not even sure what his title is because he wouldn’t even say he was in charge, i believe he was though, i asked the cook from the counter if the guy I was speaking to at the register was in charge he nods his head yes but the guy at the register stating to me there was no one in charge at the moment anyway. I called this location to place my order, so I verbally spoke with someone over the phone I ordered the deal that was $24.99 2 large pizzas&stix I also order the $11.99 each deal so thats $48.97 add tax i was charged 53.16 all good. I get to the west state store location waited for my pizza, my pizza was brought out to me, I go over my order and notice I missing a box of stix I go over to inform the worker that I missing the stix he looks up my order & tell me my order didn’t come with it, I told him it definitely does as I spoke with some one over the phone and went over my order before placing my order and confirmed it did. He proceeds to show me the screen where it clear as day says pizza and stix but he says oh no it only says that but we didn’t charge you for that we charged you $10 for 2 pizzas each and $11.99 for the other pizza you order along with wings I ordered, ok that adds up to $43.98 with tax maybe $47.50
I show him my bank statement of me being charged $53.16 from toppers he says there is nothing he can do he can’t give me my stix which i showed him my payment for and since I ordered verbal on the phone I had no proof of my transaction, so im led with no other choice then to leave a dissatisfied review for this location based off his horrible service representing the toppers establishment and just an FYI I did not care to have any money back just my food I ordered and paid for

Placed order online for Buffalo Chicken Topper and added onions. When I got home, I found that they had forgotten to add the onions I ordered (for an extra $1.75!!).
Rather than apologizing and offering a resolution while I was still at the restaurant to pick it up (i.e. remake it correctly, offer a refund/discount, ask me if I’ll take it without onions, etc), they doubled down on their mistake.
I opened my pizza at home to find that Toppers on State Street realized their mistake after cooking my dinner and INTENTIONALLY served me a (small) handful of RAW onions which were tossed on top after the pizza was cooked. They were then drizzled, boxed up and served to me like nothing was wrong.
I called the store and they merely refunded the $1.75. Unsatisfied with this offering, I’m following up with this review. You may also notice that there is an excessive amount of crust with little or no toppings present.
I’m absolutely fine with mistakes; they’re to be expected. But it’s a major red flag when a restaurant is willing to knowingly serve up sub-par food and hope the customer doesn’t notice or just won’t complain.

I purchased 3 pizzas and 2 garlic cheese brears. 2 of the pizzas were burnt and 1 was missing a topping. I would say make sure you check your food before you leave the restaurant. I sent my kid in to get the food. My issue is they wouldn’t have eaten these pizzas so to sell them is wild. Over $70 and not be satisfied is crazy. I won’t be going back there.

Had a horrible experience. I filled out the survey and let management know how bad it was. They emailed me a $20 reward to use on a future order. I tried to use it and the code was invalid! I emailed them back TWICE and never heard anything. I guess Ill take the L and not go there anymore.
