This is a great watering hole. Cold draft craft and domestic beers. Thursday is Mexican day—I highly recommend the quesabirria. On Sundays, the wings are cheap and sports are on across the many TVs.

While the food was excellent and the draft beer has good choices the staff and owner are RUDE! I went on Sunday Wing day as usual. I asked for either buffalo or Daytona which ever was hotter. The bartender said they have a Carolina reaper. I said yes and ordered 8. The owner came out and said that they were really hot and was I sure? This is acceptable. I said yes. He was going to refuse to which I said why offer if it is unavailable. The bartender went into the kitchen and told the cook to make the wings and made A $200 BET WITH THE COOK! AT MY EXPENSE! I ate 7 wings with the dipping sauce. 0 sweating, 0 milk, 0 tears. I did have one more draft. AND the cook refused to pay her when I overheard her report to the kitchen I ate 7. Please, if you are going to offer something provide the product. And if you are going to JUDGE customers make sure the customer is out of ear shot. VERY RUDE.

Stopped for some drinks and a snack. The loaded fries were great. Nice fresh ingredients. The beers pour nice out of the bottom fill tappers. Great beer on tap and in bottle. Can’t wait to go back and eat dinner. All the food coming out looks amazing.

Toppers is an out of town go to when south of Kankakee. Recently we were told about Toppers being completely bought out by a new owner and completely remodeled and a full food menu added. Wow were we pleasantly surprised. The appetizers , mains and drinks were all wonderful. We fell in love with the shrimp dinner and the mushroom app. Clean, friendly, and standout delicious food we will be back again. We feel really found a hidden gem. We would Highly recommend Toppers.
