Amazing restaurant, we found this beautiful place around the hotel we were staying.

When I asked for the bill I liked that the service charge was not included. We always leave cash tips, I used to work hospitality and from that point on I request the service charge to be removed and I would leave it cash.

We had our 3rd visit here this evening in the last few months. Absolute value for money. Great attentive staff and the food is very good for the prices that they charge. Can you get better quality food? Yes you can, but they do not is claim to Michelin, so your not paying those prices. This is a great restaurant. Thank you for providing really good food for a great price, in a lovely venue with a great atmosphere! Reading two of the more negative recent reviews on here I wonder if they would ever be really happy?

Honestly, I would give this place an extra star across the board if I could.
I’ve been to Newcastle as a lone traveller a few times for work, and as someone who likes to try new places each time I go anywhere, I can’t bring myself to it!
The food is simple, and executed perfectly. Which to me is the backbone of Italian food. I’ve had chicken, fish and steak here and everytime the food is perfect. As I want to eat healthily, the veg side is always perfect and looking at others pizzas and pastas, next on my list will be these!
Travelling solo, the vibe is perfect. I’m always accommodated, but there are always full tables around me. Compared to other places where on your own feels a burden, the level of attention is perfect.
If a sole diner, couple, or family meal. These guys do it all. And the house wine (my measure of Italian places stock) is always excellent.

Had a delicious meal here last night
Early bird special from 5 till 10! Crispy chicken wings and Penne Salmone absolutely beautiful. The service was excellent, you wouldn’t believe there was only two of them. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Arrived on a quiet wet Tues night and had a surprisingly lovely meal, fabulous starters and totally delicious mains. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back next time we are in Newcastle.

It was definitely a right choice for the last dinner in England in this trip. I usually doubt when people say “it’s the best ever”, but being very honest, it was truely the best pasta (Linguini Di Mare) I have ever had, and if there is one reason for revisiting New Castle, the pasta would be it for me. It’s sad that I could not try other menu. Thanks for the amazing food.

Came here with 2 friends last night and what a fabulous experience we had. Fantastic, friendly service from Amy the manager and the other server who was working. They were attentive to our dietary requirements and the food was fantastic. Great portion sizes, the salmon dish I had was delicious, came with vegetables and chips served in separate bowls – the presentation was lovely! We will be back again that’s for sure.

Great little restaurant. Very reasonable prices for both food and drink. Staff friendly. Food very tasty. The happy hour menu was great with a good few options.
Only slight downside was the tiramisu. Shown on the menu as a slice, but turned up as a layered dessert in a glass with A LOT of cream. Sponge bit was tasty, there just wasn’t a lot of it.
Would still return to dine here again, but would probably go for sticky toffee pudding next time, which a friend said was amazing!
