This is a decent pizza place. They sit down area is really cool – especially the outdoor seating that is set up for COVID-19. I ordered a cheese pizza and it was really good, although there was a slight aftertaste like meat or pepperoni. I imagine they use the same utensil to cut the pizza as they did for a meat pizza before mine. This is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Because of this, I would say vegetarians beware!

Even if you’re going with a large party as I often do, the service is remarkably speedy and efficient, and the restaurant is always clean. Great pizza and pasta, although I can’t speak for the sandwiches just yet, as I haven’t tried them. Garlic rolls are amazing. (Try them with cheese, seriously.) It’s a small place, but it’s better than any big chain Italian restaurant I’ve been to.

Came to try the meatball sub since it had come recommended from a few people. Meatball was tasty, a generous portion. The bread was obviously fresh and warm, just right. You can tell everything was really fresh. Delicious sandwich for sure!

After seeing so many good reviews I ended up being a bit disappointed with the pizza. Ordered 2 smalls, one with sausage & onions, one with Canadian bacon & pineapple. The toppings were very good although I got mushrooms instead of sausage. I ordered by phone so maybe the order taker misheard. I didn’t do anything about the error as I was miles away at my hotel when I discovered a different topping. My biggest criticism is of the crust. It had the taste and texture of a frozen crust. Overall not great but not bad. The location can be a little difficult to find. It’s on a busy stretch of Ventura Blvd among a bunch of other businesses. They had an improvised outdoor seating area with misters which reduced the parking availability in an already small parking lot. Staff was masked, efficient and friendly.
