Down here a wedding, and found this place right by my hotel. I knew I was in the right place right when I walked in. Everything smelled soooo good! Ordered just the Jerk Chicken so I don’t ruin my wedding dinner tonight. Just the right amount of spicy, and the wife and I fought over the last piece. The young lady at the register also recommended taking the ox tail gravy and putting it on my white rice. “Ummm, yes, please!” Throw in two spicy Jamaican patties, and mission accomplished. Thank you for the great food!

THE REVIEWS are very misleading. I ordered $17 small meal (Brown Stew Chicken) and had it delivered to my job for lunch. The food was lukewarm and barely had flavor. It was not FRESH and taste as it was made days ago & reheated in the microwave. I am very particular about my food, flavors and money! They could have at least provided FRESH HOT CHICKEN. Now I have to spend more money to get LUNCH that actually is fresh and hot.

What a great place! Ordered the large Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas (and the oxtail gravy). Delicious food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fridges full of Jamaican and Caribbean sodas and drinks (yum!). Only one table inside, but great for take-out. Would absolutely come back!

Nah lie. This is the best Brown stew fish dinner outside of Jamaica that I have ever eaten. Visiting Forte Lauderdale from Canada for a week vacation with my family and stop in Homestead and we did not know where to get some homemade food. On our way driving to st Paul Baptist church we spot this place. I got dumpling plantain rice n peas with vegetables Brown stew fish it was amazing. Food was excellent. Rice was great fish taste marvelous. Black cake and plantain. I will buy food again here anytime I come back to the everglades. I recommend it to all those who I know will come to Forte lauderdale. Excellent. True authentic Yaad food. Good blend with the Latino population. JamIcan food Aqui. Fruit cake. I bought 6 they were that good.. if I ever go back to Florida City I will make sure to find here again. Excellent
