This restaurant is located in the underground food court (for those who don’t see it on street level).
I ordered a beef pho. As far as quality goes, not too good, not too bad. The broth didn’t taste as intense as other pho broths I’ve had. It was also a tad too sweet for my tastes, and maybe too little meat. The meat was two large meatball halves and a few slices of beef. For $14 including tax, it’s comparable to other neighboring lunch options. However, it’s not heavy at all and gives just enough energy to power through the rest of the work day.
Service was fast. I didn’t see anyone’s orders take longer than 3-5 minutes.
Miscellaneous: it’s served in a plastic bowl without a lid, so if you’re concerned about microplastics or want to take it with you back to your office, maybe not the best option (you might be able to ask for a lid, though). It comes with a small bag of traditional sriracha and hoisin sauces and beansprouts, basil, and a lime wedge. This place definitely is a great option if you’re just craving traditional pho.

I’ve been getting the Tofu Bahn Mi and Vietnamese iced coffee here for years. Both are great, and so is the pho. The owner is super sweet. Support a family business! And the coffee is no joke, very strong.

I work downtown and love this place! The freshest ingredients every time and everything on the menu is great. The line moves quick and the staff treats me like family. I’m also a fan of the exotic drink options. Top Taste – You all are doing a great job. Keep it up!

The live cockroach in vegetable ruined our lunch! We traveled all the way to Houston for the ftc world championship in the convention center. Today, we found this restaurant in the nearby underground tunnel system. We ordered 11 boxes of carry out for students, the sate beef rice and sate beef noodle. In one of the boxes, there is a cockroach waving its antennae in the raw vegetables. It is very disgusting and ruined our lunch.

I was turned on to the banh mi sandwich a while back. This place has the best I’ve had so far in my opinion. The Special Pork banh mi is nothing short of phenominal. They put mayo on the bagette first and cheeses is optional. The sandwiches are toasted perfectly and the toppings are fresh and delicious. They squirt a little savory sweet sauce over the sandwich right before they wrap it up so by the time you get to eat it its melded all the flavors together. It’s a perfect comination if hot and cold, tender and crunchy and sweet and spicy. The rice plates are just as good! I usually walk the tunnels once a week to grab one; you should too if you like asain inspired sandwiches that change your life.
