Ordering is at the counter (super fast), and you can watch everything made right in front of you before picking up your food and finding a seat. The space is clean, bright, and welcoming, and everyone working there was genuinely friendly.
We tried the carne asada tacos, then added pork and chicken tacos, plus a side of fries. Everything was flavorful and fresh. They also have loaded fries on the menu, which sound amazing—and are 100% on our “next time” list.
There’s a little hot sauce caddy at the table with several options. Each one packed great flavor and real heat. As someone who’s a bit of a heat wimp, just a couple of drops went a long way (in a good way).
They also have great drink options, and the place had steady traffic while we were there—lots of people coming in and out, plus plenty of to-go orders. Bonus tip: there’s additional parking in the back, which is always appreciated.
Simple menu, made right, easy experience—and we’ll absolutely be back.
This is the kind of place you keep coming back to and we definitely will! The best tacos in Utah! ❤️
When we walked in, there were quite a few people eating lunch (which is a good sign). We glanced at the menu on the tv screen and quickly picked out a few things we wanted. I loved that the menu wasn’t too large for my indecisiveness.
We ordered two Al pastor tacos, an Al pastor burrito, and an Al pastor gringa. They gave us a holder with sauces, salt, napkins, and utensils and told us to listen for our name. We were only seated for a few minutes when our food was ready. It was quick!
First things first. Pineapple on tacos?!? Don’t knock it till you try it my friend, because it’s amazing! It gave the taco a tangy sweetness that I didn’t know it needed. The pineapple definitely paired well with the other flavors and elevated the dish. It was flavorful, but not too strong, and it was soft. Every slice of pineapple was a good slice of pineapple.
Each dish comes with lime and I feel like they’re very generous. I was able to put lime on every single bite of food. Other places give one tiny lime wedge, but not here. Multiple wedges with each dish!
The tacos were good, the gringa was excellent, and the burrito was perfect. The burrito came California style and was chuck full of deliciousness. The guacamole inside made my tastebuds so happy! I would order all three items again (I’m actually already planning another lunch date).
We had every intention to get the carne asada because my husband and I aren’t pork people. We messed up when ordering though, and accidentally asked for the Al Pastor, but I think it was a great mistake. The Al Pastor is cooked on a spit, which slow-roasts the meat while the exterior caramelizes. This method made the meat so juicy, soft, and flavorful! It’s definitely the only way to have Al Pastor!
Last but not least, this place was clean. There was someone constantly cleaning and making sure the restaurant was neat and tidy. As we were leaving, he made sure we liked the food and asked us to come back. We would love to come back 🙂
The guy who took my order was super friendly and helpful and my food came quickly. My tacos tasted amazing and the salsas they provided were perfect on top.
The whole place, including bathrooms was super clean and organized.
The other staff I interacted with also provided exceptional service as well.
The pastor was absolutely delicious! well seasoned and full of flavor. The carne asada was tender and grilled perfectly.
The portions are generous for the price, everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the service was great and friendly.
Will definitely be back!
In addition to the caddy of salsas, I wish there was a self serve station for limes and radishes available too!
We met with Daniel, one of the owners, for a brief moment and he was super nice along with his staff. The restaurant was well-kept and had a good amount of seating too. Great place for a quick bit packed with a lot of flavor!
Definitely my new favorite taco spot
I tried the asada and al pastor tacos, and wow, they were delicious! The meat was high quality, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right.
They also have three different salsas, and all of them had a nice kick! I recommend tasting them on their own before adding to your tacos. I love spicy, so I was totally happy!
To drink, I had the agua de Jamaica, and it was just the right amount of sweetness.
Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out for some tasty tacos and friendly service.
Both times they were delicious. I’ll definitely be back.
The place is clean and the staff was great. Highly recommend it.
