Pretty good overall! Some skewers will be better than others. The beef was absolutely delicious! It’s got a hint of sweetness to it that paired really well. They’re light on the spices, which I enjoyed; I’m here to eat meat, not drink crushed peppercorn. I’d avoid the oyster and sausages.
Exceptional service, decent pricing for the amount of food. Good skewer spot!

A great place to get Chinese BBQ skewers in the Richmond.
One of my favorite items to get are the chicken and beef skewers. Also for veggie options, I like to get their chives and corn *ask for extra toasty 🙂
Service is quick and friendly. Recommend coming before 8pm so you can beat the rush!

So good! We walked in on a Friday night last night. We were very impressed by our server who was doing it all by himself while still being super nice and never losing his cool and remaining professional and collected. What a pro! We tipped him super well because he deserved it and the food was absolutely amazing. The food was so delicious I couldn’t bother taking a photo except for the one of our veggies. We got the cabbage and green onions, lamb skewers which were our favorite, beef, sausage. Highly recommend the lamb and green onions. We’re definitely coming back!

Amazing authentic bbq from northern China. No wait at 6:30pm. Underrated place!! Spacious and clean. Waiter says peak traffic is at 9pm.
Get beef, lamb, chicken, potato slice, liangpi
Liangpi is sweeter than ideal but still good
Skip sausage (American style), tofu skin, tofu enoki, bbq squid

Wanted to try this out after driving by a bunch of times. We weren’t impressed or wow’d by the meal. Came here on a weeknight and the place was empty. Perhaps we were supposed to drink alcohol and enjoy the food better but after a few skewers everything tastes the same. The enoki with bacon and chicken skin was the best skewers in our opinion and the rest (beef, pork belly, tofu) was ok just on the greasy side. The noodle soup was a bit spicy for my friends so I ended up eating most of it. The grilled squid was a bit tough and didn’t have much flavoring. The dumplings were average and the same goes for the the fried egg/crepe thing. We did order another round of chicken skin, bacon-wrapped enoki and pork belly to finish out the dinner. For $148 I think that dinner here at that price is excessive especially without alcohol.

Tasty skewers, the dumplings were fantastic, unfortunately I didn’t grab a pic of those.

Having late-night snacks in SF, I found this place. The brown sugar ice jelly is very authentic, just like how it’s made in China. The lamb and beef skewers are also very juicy, and the service is very friendly.

Yummy skewers. We came late at night and had no problem being seated. The skewers come out fast enough too. There are a ton of options. They had new ownership change this past year so worth giving this place another shot.
I think they put the same dry seasoning on all their skewers so everything kind of tastes the same. They should vary it up more.
The bacon enoki is good, and some of the other ones but I don’t remember which ones exactly. Good service and friendly staff. This place hit the spot for us.

Fantastic local spot for Chinese BBQ skewers! Meat skewers are all well spiced, and enoki mushroom, grilled corn, and tofu skin skewers are highlights among vegetable options. Beyond that, grilled squid and grilled sesame flatbread are both tasty too. Highly recommend finishing with fried mantou and condensed milk!
