FIND A NEW SPOT. First. The food is normally good. But time to time, the quality and flavor profile is inconsistent; and the food is not so great. I guess depending on who they have cooking. So, normally my wife would place an order by phone & use her Credit Card as a form of payment. And I Would pick up the order on my way home from work and/or where ever I am in my travels. But the last few times we have ordered from Top One, they have been giving my wife a hard time when taking our credit card over the phone. Now, we order frequently fro Top One, So we are no strangers to this chinese restaurant. But this evening, they gave her such a hard time and didn’t even consider taking a payment over the phone and told my wife they would make the order and I would have to pay cash when I pick it up. So I did a few errands. 40 minutes later , I went to the restaurant to pick up the food. I told them my name, and I was here to pick up the food, and they didn’t even make it. They said they’ll make it now and ask if I was paying cash. I told him to forget it. I’m not waiting. I won’t be coming back and I walked out of the store. And that’s it. After 5 years ordering take out from them. I AM DONE WITH TOP ONE. THEY ALWAYS HAVE AN ATTITUDE WHEN INTERACTING WITH THE TRANSACTION OF PAYMENT AND TAKING THE FOOD. LIKE WE OWE THEM SOMETHING FROM JUST ORDERING FOOD FROM THEM. SO, WITH THE INCONSISTENCY OF FOOD QUALITY AND FLAVOR, POOR TRANSPARENCY. I’VE
HAD IT. I WELL GO TO JACKIE’S KITCHEN DOWN THE BLOCK OR SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR NOW ON. VERY DISAPPOINTING. AND IT’S NOT APPRECIATED. WITH THE COST OF LIVING TODAY AND THE COST OF FOOD. SOMEONE ELSE WILL APPRECIATE MY BUSINESS. Golden Temple in Syosset is 4.5 miles away from me. But the food is absolutely incredible. It’s worth the drive. And they are amazingly friendly.

Enjoyed really good food. Pork fried rice and sesame chicken was properly cooked. Also really enjoyed the egg drop soup. Looking forward to enjoying food from this place again some time in the future.

My bill came to $21.35. I gave the girl $40.35. She took the money and was fumbling with it for about 4 minutes. Then she put $9.00 o the counter. I told her my change should be $19.00. She then started to argue that I gave her a twenty and a ten and the change. I told her to count her money in the drawer and she said no. So I am out $10. Will never go back there again.

I go here from time to time. I always get chicken wings with vegetable fried rice. If one thing they do best there is chicken wings with vegetable fried rice. You can’t go wrong with that dish. Recently they added “Vegetables Roll” to their menu and me and my wife loves it.

When I ordered my food, the meat tasted metallic and I’ve eaten a lot of boneless ribs before and that’s not how it tasted, I called back, they told me to come back and I repeatedly told them I can’t come in babysitting until the follow afternoon, I told them to replace my food and I had to wait even longer, this is unacceptable, I’ve worked in a chinese restaurant before I know a lot of the food, but this no the meat was horrendous, I understand maybe it was just bad but the owners need to check their food, so these type of things don’t occur I’m sorry
Top One but you need to do better on these type of situations, I hope in the future I have better experiences, 23 bucks for what? Just for food being thrown in the garbage, I’m sorry again but the food put me on the verge of throwing up, with the side effect of metallic taste in my mouth.

I had recently ordered from them and I’ve had a few problems. The first problem I had was the food tasted old, like it had been left out for days. It had a very bad after taste. Then my second problem was that when I was eating my wonton soup, I bit into the wonton and there was a piece of METAL inside of it! It left me with a tooth ache. Then when I called and spoke to the manager, she was arguing with me and giving me a hard time about getting my money back. Finally after four phone calls and a lot of arguing I had gotten my money back. I am NEVER going to order from this place again and I’m telling my friends/family to never try this place. I was very disappointed.

Look despite all the bad reviews I’ve eaten here plenty of times. They have quality Chinese food, as for yelling at CO-workers in Chinese is perfectly normal for a Chinese food restaurant. They make good food and are generous with the portions you get your money worth here. I 100% recommend it.
