It was a good diner. The food was pretty good. The staff were nice. The atmosphere was okay, but it could be better. They have good hot cocoa. I think overall it was a good diner, but it could be improved.

During our last visit to Maine, friends suggested that we all go to the “Top of the Hill Grille” for breakfast. Good pick, the food was flavorful, I had scrambled eggs with cheese, peppers, and onions and a fresh fruit cup. Hubby had a Greek Omelette that he said was delicious. Service was excellent!

Staff was pleasant our go too is hash and eggs or hash benne well I’ll say I was absolutely disappointed After reading all the great reviews , it had to be the worst breakfast i’ve had in a long time my eggs were snotty and the hash was absolutely disgusting no flavor and just yuck and I’m not normally one to complain about food. Maybe it was just a bad day

Have had breakfast here many times. My food is always prepared perfectly. Prices good for the amount of food you get and the excellent side choices for breakfast. Don’t usually like deep fried home fries but theirs have such great potato flavor, i really like them. No complaints. Good coffee. Excellent food and service! Highly recommend. UPDATE 9-4-23: Had a half pound cheeseburger—the best I’ve had in years!! Reminded be of Guy’s Burger Bar on Carnival Cruise Lines.

What a wonderful little gem! Came here twice while on vacation for breakfast, both experiences were awesome. Friendly attentive staff, generous portions, delicious and low cost. Exactly what you’d expect and look forward to in a diner. Clean and comfortable. They are fast in taking your order. The food comes out quickly yet nice and hot. Coffee tastes great and they always keep you topped off. It’s a shame we live so far away as I’d come back a million times over. Awesome place!

I’ve been to diners all over the country from California to Arkansas to Boston, Chicago, and New York and I have to say this is by far the most memorable and delicious diner food I’ve ever had. Got 3 eggs over easy (cooked perfectly), 4/5 pieces of bacon, sausage patty, tater tots, 4 pieces of rye bread. Breakfast food is supposed to be simple and hearty and filling and this was all of those while tasting absolutely delicious. The person serving us was extremely friendly and I hope to visit again one day!

The food was very good and servings we large. I don’t hand out 5 stars that often, but this place was close. There were some trays of dishes on the counter when we walked in. If those were not there. 5 stars for sure. Waitress was friendly and polite. Prices were very reasonable for what we got. Not a tourist pricing that you see some places. Homemade bread was very good too. I will stop again, if I am in the area. Not very crowded on our visit. Outdoor patio looked nice, but was snow covered, when we went.

What a cute little spot. Everything was delicious. We definitely loved how there was a healthy rotation of people. Never too busy and not even close to slow.
