T.O.T.B. Tex Mex Bar and Bistro is a SEASONAL (late May- mid October only) rooftop patio bar and bistro overlooking the St. Lawrence River featuring fresh all natural Tex mex cuisine, handcrafted cocktails and small and large batch craft beers. Live acoustic music Wednesdays through Sundays during July and August. We believe in all natural ingredients and use recycled, compostable and or biodegradable products.

Nice place with great view! The music,food and the view make up as the greatest combo. We had ordered Rice bowl, Nachos platter and smackers and all tasted great and filling too.. we could not finish the nachos platter though!..overall a nice place to make your tummy and eyes to make happy

Great Tex Mex food, with a great location, and great drinks. The margaritas and tacos are superb and I highly recommend getting them! The chips, salsa, and queso are also very very good! Over looking the St Lawrence with a great breeze, what more could you want! You won’t be disappointed.

Sigh. I last came to Alex Bay 3 years ago. We had some time to kill and came to this restaurant, ordered a pitcher of Sangria and sat and looked over the bay that afternoon for a few hours. It was the best sangria I had ever had. I dreamt about it. Don’t recall the food but that sangria….wow. So of course when we returned this year we came again. Same gorgeous view! But, no more pitchers of sangria. So I ordered a glass, or actually a plastic cup, of sangria. Sigh. Not the same at all. My husband had a margarita, they don’t do frozen, and getting salt on a plastic cup rim was….interesting. Waiter was great, recommended the brisket. Had some trouble picking a meal because nothing really grabbed me. My husband had a brisket rice bowl, finished it and said it was ok. I had a brisket salad (brisket was awesome!) But it had little salad in it. The chips they stuck in the salad were from a store bought bag that tasted like they’d been out a bit. I didn’t finish it but without the sangria I probably would have. We didn’t stay for the view or more drinks because they weren’t that great. Sigh. Too bad.

The atmosphere and service were great. The food was terrible. The chips and salsa were a plate of corn Doritos with a dollop of mediocre salsa that tasted straight from the bottle. The nachos were the same but with some bland shredded chicken, sour cream, black beans and white/green melted cheese. Tacos were equally unimpressive. Again, the service and view were great. The rest was a waste of money.

The food here is fantastic! I had the brisket Smacker and omg it was so delicious! The apple bourbon BBQ sauce puts it over the top. Burritos and Nacho platter were excellent as well.

One of the best Tacos that I have eaten in awhile. I had chicken and it was packed full of veggies, and all kinds of good flavor. I might have been able to eat two, but it was for lunch, so it sufficed. Very friendly staff.

Great view horrible food! I didn’t think it was possible to eat food that was so bland, but I stand corrected. On a sunny day it seems like a nice place to go and have drinks but the food seriously lacked flavor. If you would like help ramping that menu up please let me know.
