Wow, wow, wow! The entire experience was spectacular! We got to see a gorgeous sunset over the bay right from our table. Our drinks (Blue Cheese Martini and Spicy Mezcal Margarita) were fantastic..not too salty, not too sweet, just right! The service was impeccable. Our server, Regis, and the host, Ron, were super amicable, pleasant and accommodating. For apps, we ordered the Ceviche special, the margarita flatbread, and the Mussels Marine…all I can say is WOW!! Sooo good!! So good that we wanted to take the mussels broth and the ceviche marinade home with us. For entrees, we had the braised short ribs (delicious in a Cabernet reduction), the branzino (so fresh with a light, crispy top) and another round of the ceviche special. The key lime pie with the graham crumble was to die for (we were tempted to order a slice to take home!). Thank you, Top of the Bay and staff, for the loveliest, delicious, most delicious birthday dinner!!

We had the most delicious meal in Top Of The Bay. We did have a reservation and were seated right away. The view was spectacular our drinks were amazing. Our dinner was excellent. Ron and the staff were delightful. In my opinion the best food on Fire Island. We will be back for sure.

We were there recently on June 30th and we had a superb dinner. It was a birthday celebration for myself and my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there. Our server was excellent and everybody that serviced our table did an excellent job so we’re really happy that we went there. Will definitely come back when we’re in Fire Island

This was our second visit to the restaurant and we were very grateful that we were able to get a table, last minute. The meal was perfect but my Aperol spritz was not made correctly. I was very disappointed, as it was 99% Aperol and 0 prosecco. I watched the bartender make 4 perfect Aperol spritz after mine, so I know he knows how to make one. I didn’t complain because I used to wait tables for many years and I understand the hustle of the business. I also know not to serve something that is half a—. Not sure why it happened but it was disappointing since the drink was $18. I only drank half. Other than that, the meal and service were wonderful.

We had a lovely dinner for two in the front room. Sitting in the front room by the window definitely added to the experience. Little gem and beet salads were quite tasty, as was the short rib. The papardelle was overcooked and wasn’t our favorite. The espresso martini was well done, but the lemon drop martini on the menu had an odd flavor, like vanilla. Service was very good. We’ll definitely go back.
