Great place to eat. Love the slaw, onions, and cornbread you get before each meal. We sometimes add some greens. It us all delicious. I had the chicken kabobs with the pineapple sauce, and my husband had the fish. It is all delicious. We return quite often.

I posted a long detailed review but it didn’t go thru for some reason. Most everything was great. Service was great. The only disappointments was the steak. It was very bland. And only getting TWO onion rings (for my side). They were awesome but just TWO? Smh. Loved everything else from the sweet tea to the cornbread to the salad to the fried crawfish to the dessert. Will try to get back soon.

This was my first time eating inside the restaurant. We went on a Saturday evening and it was super crowded, but we were seated quickly, our appetizers were brought quickly, and our food arrived in a reasonable time. The food was delicious; I got the custom combo with fried catfish filets and Creole broiled shrimp (peel and eat). Even though whole shrimps look disgusting and it’s a lot of work to peel them, they were so worth it because they were super delicious. Expect to spend close to $30 per person.

Went on Valentine’s Day. Despite being busy there was no wait. Food was fresh and delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were tender, juicy and tasty! Service was excellent!

Service was really good. Fish was terrible. It isn’t cleaned right and has all the dark on it, so the taste is pretty bad. Popcorn shrimp was bland. Had to salt it for it to have any flavor. The cornbread was even bland. Way too expensive for bad food.

Great food and excellent service. The food was hot and fresh. They provide cornbread in a black skillet when you arruve and slaw in a tin cup. The cornbread was really good. A classic southern staple done right! The fish was good and served piping hot. Our waitress was by every few minutes to see if we needed anything and made sure to keep our drinks full as well.

Traveling from Minnesota on a trip to the bird dog museum and to visit friend n Tennessee. We stopped for lunch at Top of the River. The atmosphere was great, decor even better. The wait staff was excellent, even though they had no recommendations for what to get. We went with the largest sea food platter in the world. We started off with cornbread, onions, and coleslaw. When the platter came it was an excellent choice. The catfish was ok but the balance of the shrimp and crab were excellent. The hush puppies were the best we have had. This is a must stop location in Tennessee.
