While on a day trip, we passed through the town of Anniston, AL, and found this restaurant after performing a quick Google search of the area. We opted to split the Riverboat Special between two of us, and it was enough food and then some! We ordered our catfish with fries, and they served it with hush puppies, cornbread, cole slaw, and pickled onions. The pickled onions were delicious and paired perfectly with the hush puppies! We really enjoyed the catfish, as it was crispy and tasted very fresh. Whether you live in the area or happen to be passing through, this is a restaurant that’s definitely worth checking out.

People were getting their tables at a steady pace despite the crowd of people. The staff was courteous, accurate & attentive. The cole slaw and cornbread was good. We enjoyed the catfish fillets and especially the GULF shrimp! They had the best hush puppies too ! The seasoning on each was perfect. My husband loved how crispy the catfish fillets were. Every part of the experience was good & the food was terrific.

Our server, Jordan, I think was her name, was great. Drinks never emptied, and she checked on us just enough not to be a nuisance. The food was perfect. We went on a Sunday, and they were extremely busy, but we had no wait. The only negative comment I have would be, the beautiful aquarium needs dire attention.

I wish you would look at a location somewhere closer to Central Alabama. We drive 2 hours to eat here or more to visit your other locations. I promise if there was a location closer to us we would be there multiple times a week. The staff is always friendly. The food is always the best. This is our favorite restaurant of all time. We love it!!
