Affordable Korean BBQ in the Henderson/Green Valley Area.
I chose Top Korean BBQ, not only because I like Korean BBQ but also because it was a five-minute walk from my hotel. As a veteran of many, many visits to Las Vegas, I often eat off the strip to try new restaurants in different areas of the city. Top Koren BBQ is located right off Sunset Road in a collection of shops, businesses and restaurants.
I was seated quickly on my visit, and after a long drive through the desert from SoCal, I was hungry. Top Korean BBQ had good reviews, and I decided to check it out. The staff is young but attentive, as it only took a few minutes for me to get seated and to start eating. My server, Austin, was on point and walked me through their most popular meats and dishes to try. I ate quite a bit of classic AYCE dishes, and I tried their version of Kimchi stew. They don’t serve as much Kimchi with the meal as some other Korean BBQ places do, but I was there for the meat anyway. I ate from the premium menu, and the food was great, and the dishes came out fast when I needed them to. Overall, a good experience and a place I might try again, when I’m in the Las Vegas area.

I used to enjoy coming here, but after reviewing Korean Top BBQ’s health inspection history, I’ve completely lost trust in this place.
Multiple C grades with very high demerits (31 and 39) is not normal. These weren’t minor issues — they involved improper handwashing, bare-hand contact with ready-to-eat foods, cross-contamination risks, improper food temperatures, sanitation failures, and chemical storage problems. These are the most basic food safety standards.
When a restaurant repeatedly fails at fundamentals like hygiene and temperature control, it makes you seriously question what’s happening in the kitchen on a daily basis — especially at a BBQ restaurant handling raw meat constantly.
Even though there’s a recent A grade, the repeated pattern over time is what concerns me. Food safety shouldn’t fluctuate. It should be consistent.
As a customer, I shouldn’t feel uneasy about where I’m eating. Unfortunately, after seeing this history, I no longer feel confident dining here. That’s disappointing.

First time being there because it’s close to my house. We like to gamble in next door Barley’s, so we passed it almost every day, for Curiosity, we decided to give it a try.
Very disappointed: the bbq grill is very slow, we called the severs many many times, they all TRIED to fix it, but…
Service is also very slow, no severs would voluntarily came to ask us if we needed anything, they packed at the rear of the restaurant chattering, we had to waive to them or asked loud to get their attention, but, food and beverages sent to our table like turtle delivered
Food quality is so so, no better than we bbq in our backyard!
We were half filled then didn’t be allowed to order anything because the restaurant only allowed eating time is 2 hours…

When we came in there was only one server and it was busy. The server pointed to our seats instead of taking us to our seats. We sat down before 3pm and 2 other couples came after us and they were taken to there seats, the 2 other couples got there drinks before us, we received our drinks at 3:34pm and we got there before 3pm and the server had help come in before 330pm. The service was horrible and we did nothing wrong, we were very nice to the server but he was treating us like trash and we still gave him a tip. I understand that he was busy but he did not have to treat us like that. The other server that came to help made us feel welcomed and he came around 3:15pm. I feel like this server just didn’t like us for no reason.

This place is not worth going to when its busy. Took 2 hours to get to a table when we were told 1 hour originally. Then, after being seated we waited 20 minutes before anyone said anything to us. No drink order, no “sorry give us a moment”, nothing.
Finally when we do order, they forget half the stuff we asked for and that was the last time we saw our server until it was time to pay lmao.
For a place where you cook your own main entree, how hard is it to ask someone if they need something else? The inattentiveness of the serving staff is insane. It felt great to put 0.00 on that tip line.
The music selection was definitely questionable and you can tell they gave the speaker to a twenty something in the back to just que up music as they wish. Don’t get me wrong I’m a twenty something and I love rap music when its in the right context, but blasting Carti on Valentines day while he’s talking about how another guys girl sucks pp is not the vibe lmao.
At least the food was good.

It took a long time for the server to come over to the table so we could place an order, I think there was only one server for a while. After we ordered she returned and only gave us one napkin each so we asked for napkins and drinks and water and then she didn’t come back for a long time again. We ended up having to make requests to the bus girl who was very nice….. the biggest problem is while the customers waites the servers and the other employees were by the front register chit-chatting and then after that they all stayed at a table in the back and we’re eating while all the customers waited for their service and their food. We think that Mr Kim’s Korean BBQ is much better… the service is better and the food is better but I give it three stars because it was okay.

We are extremely disappointed with a staff member at Top Korean BBQ. The grill was burning the meat on the outside but leaving it uncooked inside. Despite asking several times for the grill to be changed, nothing was done, and we lost our appetite and could not finish the food. The staff yelled at us to leave and spoke to us disrespectfully, even threatening to call the police while we were calmly explaining the problem. She acted as if she were in charge, tried to make it seem like we were in the wrong, and embarrassed us in front of others. We have been to this restaurant many times, and this is the first time something like this has happened. The owner and management need to address staff like this—she does not know how to treat customers with respect and should not be in that position. Charging us for the food we couldn’t eat made the experience even worse.

We have been here 4 times in the past and it was very very good. This time wow the polar opposite the food quality has diminished the condiments came in small little plastic shooter cups and enough for maybe 1 person there was 3 of us. We couldn’t get extra tongs because the waiter told us there not washed yet. The waiter said the rice will take 20 mins. But the best one is the waiter told us we have to make sure we want the hot sauce because it’s expensive. We asked for simple things throughout the meal had to ask different waiters they kept forgetting. All of us were never asked for a refill on our pops. Food quality terrible service lacking. We found out this place changed hands since last time we ate here. Bathrooms disgusting restaurant floors dirty. Makes sense now why such a 360 in every way from great to terrible new owner.

Koreans are meat experts and this place is tops! Once you try it, you will want to keep coming back. It’s all you can eat on 3 tiers. The entry level menu, all you can eat, already has all the choices we like: brisket, spicy brisket, marinated bulgogi ribeye, thin cuts of pork belly, chicken etc. There are expanded menus that cost a little more and include other deluxe cuts, more seafood and select organ meats. Everything comes with dip sauces, and sides like garlic and jalapenos that are great on the grill too. You do your own cooking, they provide the tools and the high power table grill. Service is good. They have alcohol as well.
Choose a starch: rice, noodles, fries, etc and enjoy the special table veggies (kimchee, tofu, cucumbers, sprouts, green beans and more) while your meat keeps on coming. Also absolutely love their salad: leaves with the finest slightly spicy sesame dressing. Dessert is super creamy Korean ice creams (strawberry, melon or banana).
Consistently great, unchanged quality – always fun!
