Nice lil spot tucked away in Gallatin… Southern hospitality at it’s finest! Great food, great service, definitely have to try this if you like Southern comfort food. Came early on a Thursday and got a table right away. Didn’t have to wait very long for the catfish plate to come out. So incredibly good! I found my new spot ❤️

I wanted so badly to love this place, but overall not impressed. The atmosphere was incredible, wait staff was (mostly) so so kind, but nothing else was very impressive. It took over an hour and a half to get our food, which was then not very good. The Mac and cheese was cold, runny, and flavorless, and everything else was just ok. Sweet tea was delicious — drank 1.5 huge mason jars worth before food was out. Onion rings were pretty good. They were VERY busy, but most people had left by the time we got our food (about 7:45, after being there since just after 6PM), and for what we ordered, it just didn’t make sense to me to wait that long.

The best kept secret in Gallatin. Found this place because I wanted a BBQ sandwich one day. Been going almost every week since then. The hamburger steak with cheese and onions is excellent. All the sides are good but the home fries and baked beans can’t be beat. The catfish is also fantastic!

I went here on my lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I had two sandwiches BBQ and catfish the waitress went over everything that was on the sandwiches to see what I wanted and what I didn’t. It is cash or check only but the flavor and quality of food quickly makes you forget that. This is a hidden gem. Please keep up the customer service and food quality.

Small, very busy, awesome food, friendly staff, and owners are right in the mix of all the busy work with the rest of the team. Wouldn’t think twice about waiting for a spot to sit. Placed orders and surprised at the short wait time for it to arrive. Fresh and OHMY it was delicious every bite. Couldn’t have gotten another bite down it was so plentiful.Ribs perfect, fall off the one tender and plenty meat on it.
Extra parking in the back. Just all around great place. Will return my next trip only takes cash or check but it’s worth stopping for cash if you need.

I moved to TN a couple months ago…first time at Top Hog was tonight. Parking was a little hard (the place was packed!!) It’s a small place packed with locals. I was greeted/spoken to by 6 of the nicest friendliest employees I have ever encountered. I ordered a catfish sandwich to go. It was HUGE HOT AND FRESH!!! Everything is made to order. Veggies super fresh and crispy the fish….ohhh my, the fish!!!! The catfish was super fresh and hands down the best I have ever eaten!!! I can’t wait to go back!!! Go eat at Top Hog, best meal of your life!!!! (Make sure to take cash, they don’t do credit cards) ♥️

Went to top out with friends today and we’re quickly seated outdoors on the porch which was wonderful as it was a very pleasant day. Server was right there and took our drink orders while we went over the menu and our drink orders came right out. How old are they half rack of ribs and my wife ordered catfish with coleslaw baked potato and green beans as sides Everything was delicious and arrived in very short order. The ribs were a little dry and overcooked, but I have eaten here numerous times before and never gotten the ribs like this. They weren’t bad. Flavor was good. My wife’s cat fish were as good as I have ever eaten. That’s what she said. I had a piece of her face, and it was excellent.
