Solid experience, yet nothing extraordinary. My wife and I just moved nearby and wanted to try our local eateries. We were sat very quickly, which was nice. I ordered the Honey Siracha wings, which were really good, but nothing extremely special about them. Just normal good tasting wings. Possibly frozen before? I’m not sure. Either way they were just pretty good I’d say. Honey Siracha was a good flavor choice. My wife ordered the grilled chicken and shrimp, which seemed pretty basic, nothing bad about it. However, she also ordered the vegetable medley; which never came out. However, she liked the broccoli that was brought so we didn’t mention it to the waiter. We also ordered the chips and queso which was awesome! Suggested by our waiter who was also awesome! He was extremely kind and very attentive. He really made the experience a good one! The prices were on the reasonable, but expensive side. I think $18 for 12 wings and $12 for 6 is sort of steep, but it is what it is. Again, I can’t say anything particularly negative happened. We will definitely be coming back to try some more menu items! Only 4 out of 5 stars because nothing necessarily extraordinary caught our attention. If you’re looking for a place with good food and a variety of selections, this is your place! We’ll be back! Also, they offer 15% off for law enforcement which is commendable. Give them your business and come see for yourself!

I stopped here on a recommendation from a friend. She recommended the wings and potato skins. I ordered both along with some fried pickles. Although it took a little longer than I had expected, when everything did arrive it was hot and tasted great! I got a Strong Hands Pecan Brown Ale to accompany my meal. It really gives Holy City Pecan Dream a run for its money! All together a great time. I recommend Top Dawg Tavern highly! They have a wing special on Tuesday if you’re interested.

I had the put roast. It was good but very salty. My husband had the fish. His was not good, said it tasted frozen. Plus it was expensive for how little he got. Our server, a wise gentleman, was great and on top of making a great experience on the server side.

I placed an order tonight. I used Uber. My food arrived much later than specified, by 45 minutes. My order was not correct. I received something I didn’t order, my order was placed for a family member who had a stroke. He couldn’t not even try to eat the wrong order because it had cheese and is allergic. I spoke with the manager and he said he couldn’t do anything or offer me a refund. NOTHING! He said it was up to Uber even though they sent the wrong order. The food was ice cold and I live 8 minutes from the establishment. He didn’t even apologize. I had to make the patient a hotdog. I am so disgusted. The last 3 times I have ordered from Top Dawg and was giving them one more chance. Please do not use Uber to get food from this restaurant. This is what I received instead of my order, I tried to remove the cheese, but it was just cold cheese stuck to the food. Disgusting.

Walked in told person at front ill sit at bar, bar empty except for 3 guests at end of bar. I sat in the middle, bartender walked past twice before acknowledging. Once acknowledged very pleasant experience with bartender. 1st drink was delicious. 2nd drink ordered couldn’t get because they were out of the alcohol to make it, I ordered from the printed drink menu they had, next drink ordered was made but still missing a key ingredient so it was modified. Ordered a build your own salad, lettuce listed was american blend and romaine. I ordered romaine. Salad came with iceberg lettuce. Which is fine, but at a $17 price point, I want romaine not iceberg. I believe management must be poor. Good luck to this place.

Our server Antwan and the manager Kyle were superb and really helped brighten the atmosphere when eating lunch. I am honestly really thankful for their energy, positive attitude, and customer service. Especially while serving the dumpster fire of a table I unfortunately was apart of. Server was doing his best, he was chill and nice. The food was good, but literally took an HOUR to get to the table. (Killing the cOW back there) Ridiculous, as we were practically the only customers there. Manager was no where to be found to apply military discount, and once again we had to wait forever to get our card back in order to pay and leave.

Dinner was absolutely wonderful at Top Dawg Tavern! I went with a group of 5, they sat us very quickly despite being busy. All of us agree that it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable. We had the sweet and spicy fried shrimp (HIGHLY SUGGEST) and the fried pickles for appetizers. Then I had the Tavern Cheese Steak with fries for my meal, and it was great!
Our server was Samantha and she was, without a doubt, the best server! I highly recommend Top Dawg Tavern to anyone who is staying in Summerville and needs a chill and fun atmosphere with amazing food and service.

Stopped by here for late lunch after daughter’s Regional Band Auditions. Had prompt and friendly service. Food was excellent, my wife said the Ahi Tuna was done of the best she’s had! I had a buffalo chicken wrap with tots also very good!

Great lunch specials at reasonable prices. I got the philly cheese steak, but there were so many choices I will have to come back. Full table service and a great outdoor patio area. Dog friendly and not only did they bring out a bowl of water, but I was able to order a grilled chicken breast for the pup. Service was great and the staff is friendly.
