Decent local sports bar. Decent food, great beer selection and drink specials. Not a fan the patio is animal friendly. Tavern Cobb was salad with chicken. Avocados were overly ripe so didn’t eat. Golden BBQ tasted like Peruvian Sauce. I enjoyed them. There is good variety on the menu but nothing sticks out as spectacular. You can’t really sit comfortably at the outside bar as you have fans above you blasting you. It’s convenient sports bar if you live nearby but nothing to go out of your way for.

Great sports bar with excellent, friendly service and lots of monitors to watch sports. I was served by Sarah and Nadia, both of whom were charming and attentive. Really good bar vibe with a long counter. Restroom was clean. There’s a large outside area but too cold to be open!

The food was not where it needed to be. The service was great, and I loved the MIA/POW table. Live band outside. However, we ordered the potato skins not impressed. My husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich, and it was frozen and not impressed. I had the fried green tomatoe salad, and my honest opinion is too much going on in this salad. Mixed greens, fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, honey glazed pecans, bacon bits. There’s just too much flavor going on.

Had dinner around 6pm. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Ordered a pretzel, boneless wings and a Black & Blue Burger with bacon added and a side of blue cheese slaw. Food was great. Fries were fantastic. The texture reminded me of McDonalds fries but tasted better. The pretzel was delicious. The outter crust was thin and crunchy and you could pull it apart. Presentation was nice and the pretzel came with cheese and Dijon mistard. Service was good. Our food came out fast. Nice atmosphere for both kids and adults. Nice patio outside. There seemed to be a playroom for kids in the back but I did not check it out.

After years we finally decided to give this joint a try. The service was good and the food was good for its price! The fried pickles were good, however we didn’t get a plate or napkins at first to share between the wife and I. The burger was tasty and my wife loves her fried green tomatoes and onion rings. The fries were okay, shoestring fries are easy to over cook.
The server was tentative to our drinks and provided food service.
We will return!

This is one of my new favorite places because of the food and especially because of the service. The twos times I’ve been there I purchased hot wings and fries and also purchased a chicken salad the second time. Both times Dana sounded pleasant and professional over the phone and in person. She was extremely accommodating making sure I had everything I needed so I can have a good lunch. She even made me an extra cup of ice because we all know sweet tea needs loads of ice! Lol!!! I will be back and also refer you guys. Forgot to take pics, next time!

Top Dawg Tavern is exactly what their name is, a Tavern. It’s a place to go and have a beer, watch the game and also enjoy some bar style bites. This is not meant to be a regular sit-down restaurant with food that will blow your mind. I feel a lot of other reviews expected this place to be something they are not. Now the food was good, no complaints with the quality but it’s not anything that is one-of-a-kind. We did have to wait for our food but I chalk that up to staffing which many restaurants are struggling with. The staff performed admirably while still having an occasional mistake but nothing to warrant a complaint. If you’re looking for a decent place to spend some time and relax with a beer, this is your spot. I would return again.

I’ve never actually eaten here, but I’m gonna. Almost everyday I walk by omw home from work, and sit right outside their restaurant and hang out for a few before I walk home. Today I happened to pull my wallet out to confirm a car rental with my credit card. And then put it down and absent mindedly walked off without it. I didn’t even realize it for hours. Smh. Anyway around 10pm this young lady we t out of her way and came to my house and dropped it off. I don’t typically keep cash on me, but today I had some in there, and even upon receiving my wallet back, I totally expected the cash to be gone, and I would have been happy to just get the wallet with my cards and my identification back, but the cash was there too. So idk, in a world where we’ve come to expect the worst out of everybody, every now and again the we get to see the best out of people, and I appreciate that. My apologies if I came off as anything but grateful, I was just so blown away at what you did. I didn’t even catch you name, but imma try to come in there and get ya as a server so I can patronize an establishment that employs such honest young individuals, and so that I can give you an awesome tip for what I’m sure will be awesome service, and terrific food. Thank you ever so much, sincerely James.

Food was decent. Wings were a little dry and seasoning (jerk) was just a sprinkle of herbs and was tasteless. Service was slow but hard to say it wasn’t new servers and short-staffing issues. If the wings were any insight, skip all appetizers here. 3 of 5 stars
**Updated**. Food was good this time around. Tried fried string beans with horseradish. Service faster. Still let drinks go empty but I’m not that picky. Did not retry wings. 3 of 5 stars.
**Final visit** arrived for lunch at 1pm. Outside table covered in dirt and ash when seated. No excuse. Most food was ok. I asked for the blue cheese cole slaw as I love both … Absolutely horrible. Just regular cole slaw with blue cheese salad dressing mixed in. Extra watery and unappetizing.
I have come to realize this restaurant chain business model is basically that of Chillies or Applebee’s. If you own your own microwave, you can make the same food. I will not return.
If you want a cheap date bar, this is your place. For a real meal at a restaurant, try elsewhere.

Top Dawg is a new sports bar that recently opened.
We gave it a try today and have to say we think it is great.
The venue has a large indoor bar, plenty of seating, a large patio, a small dining area that can be closed off for a small group, and even a small indoor play area for kids.
The menu is pretty large and a large variety of appetizers, chicken tenders, burgers, wings, salads, sandwiches and more. On Sundays, they also offer a brunch menu.
On this trip I tried the philly cheese steak with onion rings. My wife ordered the Southern BLT, which is a croissant topped with bacon, pimento cheese, lettuce and fried green tomatoes with a side of fries. Both sandwiches were delicious, but we both agreed the BLT was the better of the two items since it was so unique.
We visited on a Sunday morning and the place was packed, however we were seated immediately and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
This is definitely a welcomed addition to the area and we will definitely be back often. I’m sure this place will become a favorite of the local neighborhoods.
