First time at Top Cut for an anniversary dinner. Excellent experience from start to finish. Enjoyed a few expertly crafted cocktails at the bar by Stephan. Jason our server was attentive and helpful in suggestions for our 1st experience. The rolls were like clouds…soft and delicious. We enjoyed the scallop with mash and brown butter appetizer. The chopped salad was also excellent . I got the duck which was huge and perfectly crispy. My husband got the 22oz dry aged ribeye which was a beautiful medium rare. We had Mac and cheese for a side….just wow. We were treated to carrot cake for our anniversary by the restaurant (it was literally 1/4 of a cake). The best carrot cake of our lives. The candied pecans nessled into the cream cheese frosting. I may just go back and get the cake! Needless to say we had quite a doggie bag and enjoyed the leftovers. You why what you do at for….high price point, but worth it for our special occasion.

Great food in general. Steaks are so good. Appetizers are great too, except for the raw oysters that are really small in size. This is our first in this place so I have no idea why we waited so long for our main course to be served. Good thing we have our server Shawn to apologize & explain everything. Actually, there was a gentleman who was not welcoming in the front desk when we came in. Ambiance is well fair enough for a fine dining restaurant. For the desserts, the Carrot Cake are huge & delicious including the cheese cake. If you have leftovers they provide you with a decent bag & not a cheap looking brown bag compared to other places. Overall a recommended place for fine dining restaurant.

One thing about PAXOS is that their restaurant decor is spot on. I went to Top Cut for our anniversary, and I must say, our experience was beautiful. The ribeye steak I had was the best I’ve ever had; it was well-seasoned. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the lump crab cake was outstanding. My cucumber cocktail was also really good. Additionally, we received a complimentary slice of carrot cake, which was delicious! Thanks to Anthony and the Manager

We went here for a date night on a Saturday. Very lively atmosphere. The server was very attentive. We went straight for the steaks and sides. The meal started with the dinner rolls that very warm and soft. I have to say the steak experience was one of the best we’ve had in the Lehigh valley. While it does come with a higher price tag, I think it’s worth the cost. They have ample amount of seating for larger groups as well. Scores an 8.5/10 on my personal scoresheet.

The food took a little longer to arrive than I would’ve liked. That being said, the kitchen did look like it had a lot of tickets at once and they were fighting to get out of the weeds and they did a great job in recovering. From being in the industry, the most important mark to hit when you’re backed up is making sure the food comes out perfect and they hit that mark spot on. The server Dae was very nice and even gave us the biggest piece of carrot cake I’ve ever seen for our anniversary. Having had a great view of the staff I could tell they all work well together as a team. Great restaurant and we will be back.

DO NOT EAT HERE!

Food poisoned us with below rare steak 3 times when we asked for medium rare. We’re both at home throwing up in case the manager would like to know. Service took forever. When he did bring us water it was spilled and then served to us anyway. We asked for mixed drinks that were a ball of sugar when I specifically asked mine not to have sugar. The bus boy Stuck his finger in my food so I asked him not to touch the other steak plate and just bring us a box to take it home. He then grabs the other steak plate with his unwashed hands anyway along with our full side of asparagus. The manager is a young girl who did not address the issue and kept mis-speaking as if she didn’t listen to a word I said. To top it off, they attempted to make me pay for and take home Steak and asparagus that the bus boy stuck his unwashed hands in. I have been here once before and did not have an issue. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a fine dining restaurant. I will be reporting this place to the food and safety administration at the very least.

Response: As everyone can see you will never be treated fairly in this restaurant. They will always take the side of their money and not their customers! I’ve never had to pay to be poisoned at any restaurant. What a joke. No one wants to goto any of your poorly managed so called “fine dining” restaurants.

Also, thanks for clarifying that you think someone can stick their fingers in raw steak that I put my used fork into and then touch asparagus. Apparently to this unidentified “owner” that is not cross contamination. I guess we should all rub raw steaks on our vegetables.

And to your Inconsistencies apparently in my story, food Bourne illness happens between 30 minutes to days to completely set in. 45 minute drive home I’d say is accurate. Keep fighting your customers.

Me & my husband went to Top Cut tonight to celebrate our anniversary. We read the reviews before hand & we were pretty excited to try a top notch steak house.
To start, we had the Jumbo Lump Crab meat, it had large pieces of crab & incl 3 delicious sauces. Next we had the crab bisque, I thought it was a little spicy but it was still good. For entrees the waiter talked my husband into the Wagyu special for $119. I ordered the Filet. My husband likes his steak medium & I asked for my steak to be cooked Med/Well. When the entrees’s came to the table some other wait staff brought them out. We cut into them & they were BOTH Rare. I hate to be “that” person but I had to send my steak back. Our waiter was no where to be found. Finally the manger came by our table to ask how our food was where I explained that my steak came out not cooked the way I ordered it. She was apologetic & brought it back to the kitchen. A couple minutes later she brought it back but it was still rare in the middle. I finally saw our waiter, I made eye contact w/him but he walked right by our table! I saw the mgr again & grabbed her attention & ask to send the steak back again. When she came back this time my plate was piping hot, steak was well done but dry as a bone. It seemed like someone microwaved it. I was pretty disappointed that I wasn’t able to enjoy my filet bec it was so dry.
When our waiter finally came to ask us if we were finished my husband & I were so over the place & ready to leave.
For a top notch steakhouse it’s pretty disappointing they couldn’t get the steaks right.
For 2 ppl, 1 appetizer, 2 soups, 1 wagyu “special”, 1 filet & no alcoholic drinks =$310.

Really if you want a magical place, both the place, the good and magnificent attentions of the staff, in addition to the person in charge of the place, this is the best restaurant for it. Very good service from John thanks to everyone and for the excellent steak cuts.

The staff was very helpful and nice. Sean our server was very good and made sure to check in on me and my gf periodically. The general manager stopped by our table to see how things were. I appreciated the check ins as this is very important in the food industry. Food was cooked perfectly. The only thing was the steak was a bit salty but the flavor and seasoning was so good that I am not concerned. Overall I would highly recommend. Prices are good for the fine dinning.
