The very first time I visited Top Bop in south Anchorage, it was right when they opened and the whole place smelled like very dirty mop water. The floor was wet, so I assume they had just mopped the place. It completely ruined my appetite, so I didn’t order and left. This was a couple years back.
Boy oh boy, I’m glad I tried the place again. I ordered their seafood bop with crab salad and edamame over fried rice and oh my god, it was absolutely delicious!! This might be my favorite lunch spot in town. The tuna poke bob is another banger and recommend the kimchi as a topping, as well.

My first time here recommended by my sister and will not be my last. The food tasted great! I got the bowl size and was able to share with my 4 year old and still have some leftovers. The combination of the teriyaki chicken, noodles, salad and rice was so tasty. The mac salad was good, a little on the dry side but still good. The blue raspberry Italian soda was very good as well. Excited to try other flavors. I also tried their shrimp tempura (not pictured) and it did not disappoint! The sauce they had on it made it even better. I’m ready to go back again to eat more amazing food they make.

Not very happy w the new staff there. Received my order incorrectly and my order came with barely any meat or sauce. Not to mention poor customer service. I love the food here but the food I received is really not to my liking at all right now. I miss the old staff.

This place is inedible. The rice is overcooked and has the texture of mashed potatoes. The egg rolls are only halfway fried. All meat and veg are heated in a microwave. No vegan or vegetarian options. Only come here if you want food poisoning.

I have eaten at Top Bop before in the past and always had a great experience from the time I walk in til the time I walk out.
The food ingredients are always fresh and taste amazing. There are 3 locations here in Anchorage with plenty of parking and dinning.
The price is pretty steep, I average between $20 and $26 with tip for my lunch but I always leave satisfied and happy. So who says money cannot buy happiness. There are 2 sizes of bowls to choose from, regular and large. The regular size is a good choice portion wise.

I ordered to go through grub hub today. When it was delivered half of my order was missing! Driver and me even hand went over missing items at my doorstep.. called grub hub. Zero support or even concern was given towards my missing food issue. HOWEVER driver showed back up to the restaurant and had them remake my missing food. Top Bop even called me to apologize and let me know my food was remade and on the way again! I was very impressed by the restaurant and the drivers cooperation together. They made sure to correct the issue and then notify me of its arrival. Food was delivered hot, and delicious and was so very appreciated by my kids on a day when they are not feeling well and home from school. Thank you Top Bop!

The food is so, so so good! The crab salad, the chicken, edamame…..spice level is completely customizable which is so appreciated. The rice is nice and fluffy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good prices for the amount of food you get (at least 2 meals with for me). Highly recommend!

There were only 2 people working there when we arrived so service was a bit slow and have a lil wait time but for the price, portion size and quality of food, it’s okay.
