The food was wonderful like always. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was nice, not loud, you could hold a conversation with others. They had the inside decked out for the holidays.

There were three of us for dinner. One had steamed oysters, one had the catfish basket, and the had the chicken finger basket. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. And our server Blake was top notch. He was probably one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time. As we all know, eating out has gotten pretty expensive, and Toot’s Is no exception. We drove about 30 miles to eat there. We do that a couple of times a year. It was an enjoyable experience.

The carryout is normally hit or miss. The young gentleman who was working it during the day is on another level. Very aware, a great multi-tasker, and good personality. A true asset. Hope you did well at the tourney, young man!

We have dined in Toots West several times since their opening, but usually get take out. Always a great experience!
Last week, on “Toots Tuesday” as we call it, there was a note in the bag with the person’s name that inspected and packed the order, insuring the quality and that the order was properly fulfilled. What an awesome idea!
There’s a reason Toots has been around a long time, and usually quite busy. Because they are an excellent outfit with great service, and great food at very reasonable prices!
So glad they’re only a mile away!

Where to start. Everything was perfect!
The restaurant’s decor, cleanliness, and service were amazing.
Their food was the star of the show. We first ordered the chips and salsa. It was incredibly cheap and the chips and salsa were homemade.
When the entrees arrived the food only went uphill. Onion straws are a must-try. They are perfectly seasoned and come with a light buffalo sauce. Chicken finger salad is massive! Come hungry or just split it. It is too big for one alone.
The chicken sandwich was tasty and the wing buffalo garlic wing sauce was amazing as well.

After seeing Toot’s featured many times on Talk of the Town over the last few years I had wanted to try it. Passing through the area from NW TN I took a detour from i24 for takeout. I ordered the chicken strip basket with tater tots. Such disappointment after years of built up expectations for the amount of money I was charged for it. Over $15 (before tip) for a modest amount of undercooked tater tots and the saddest chicken strips I’ve ever had. They were lightly coated in unseasoned flour. The chicken itself was over cooked while the soggy breading was undercooked and saturated with oil. The best I could say is that it was protein while I shrug. 10/10 don’t recommend.

Night two for work in Murfreesboro. Toots was another option in the vicinity of our hotel. We wanted more of a sit down place and it fit the need.
Had the bacon cheeseburger and fries onion rings, with a drink.
The atmosphere was pretty lively as there was a game on. Plenty of TVs made it a great place to be for Thursday night football
The service was great and attentive.
Overall a great place and would come back.
