Location was lit up. Easy to find. Took a while for someone to come out the back but he was friendly. Overall the prices are average especially in this economy. He seems like he needs a little help because he’s between making orders, taking orders and keep up with call-ins. I got the catfish with fries. It was tasty just a little too hard but had plenty of flavor. He let me taste the house sauce which was tooties sauce which was a great recommendation. Wait was about a little over 10minutes. I’ll give him 4 stars only because the seating area had miscellaneous things on the floor, like a shoe, keys an empty foil container. But overall he was pleasant just needs help. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I gave Tooties a try today and dined in with my family and really enjoyed it! Food was super tasty and flavorful. I tried the smash burger ( this was my favorite ) Philly cheesesteak and the Tooties 1,2,3 platter. Delicious! I highly recommend that Tootie sauce because wow I need that on everything next time. Thank you to the owner for the great hospitality.

I had the soul food meals. One catfish and one chicken wings with greens and Mac. The catfish was cooked perfectly. Nice and flaky and not dry. Battered and seasoned well. Greens were cooked right and full of flavor.

The young lady at the counter was friendly and helpful with the menu. The restaurant is clean, prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. Most importantly, the food is great!! It’s hot and fresh, cooked perfectly, and well seasoned. I went once, then came back two more times in one week. The catfish is my favorite, but the chicken, salmon bites, and shrimp aren’t far behind. Make sure you try Tooties signature sauce!!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to share that the customer service at Tooties in Hammond, IN. was exceptional. I met the owner and ordered the shrimp, catfish, and grits. They were both very good. Shrimp and grits is one of my favorite meals, and I like to experience different varieties of how it is prepared. I did not expect the shrimp to be fried, but it gave it a really great taste. The presentation was nice as well. Thumbs up!

The cashier had a bad attitude I should have left then but wanted to give them a try. I ask for greens and the cashier said they normally have greens on Sunday.
