Reviews
Thank you for the wonderful food.
This review is going to be long but definitely worth reading.
I have countless dietary issues. Last year I was pretty sick and my doctor told me that I was not tolerating any food at all at the start of my treatment with her and she just told me to “eat whatever didn’t make me feel sick” in addition to medications and supplements.
I at baseline can not eat gluten and then with this sickness I also couldn’t have dairy, many vegetables, and even limiting my diet, most foods still made me sick.
We live very close and have ordered to go from this location probably 40 times.
Their ordering system is awesome because it allows for customizations. I have (on average) weekly eaten a “breakfast burrito” with no tortilla and no cheese that they put in a box like a breakfast bowl. I have also eaten their crispy chicken tacos just as often with no cheese or cabbage. I have tried their rice, beans, chips, enchiladas, carne asada, and rolled tacos. Plus of course the green sauce.
I have NEVER been sick from eating at Tony’s. Not once. As I mentioned at the beginning this is a huge deal.
I believe this speaks volumes to how clean their restaurant is, and how fresh their food is. I can order and the meals will last me a couple of days and I am also very picky about leftovers.
Finally, I will say that the food is always ready quickly, the order is always accurate, the people are always so friendly, and even my coworkers know that Tony’s Tacos has my safe foods.
To the South Salem Tony’s- thank you immensely. You will never know how a little taco spot changed my life.
Last week, I tried the small rolled tacos and asked at the window if the sour cream could be put on the side. WhenI got home, there was NO SOUR CREAM anywhere. I drove back and asked for it. The person who took my order was gone; they considered not giving me a container of sour cream???? But in the end they did.
Today I was just craving a good carne asada nacho dish. I now know better than to order it at Tony’s Tacos. I’ll stick to nachos with shredded chicken. And maybe one day soon I’ll try the cheese enchiladas before I give up entirely… on Tony’s.

Breaking news: I’ve just experienced taco nirvana at none other than Tony’s Taco Shop, and I’m here to report that it was nothing short of a flavor-packed fiesta! Today, I indulged in two hard tacos stuffed with cabbage, beans, and chicken—and let me tell you, it was a revelation. Who knew cabbage could throw down like that in a taco? Absolute perfection!
But wait, it gets better. The Horchata? Next level. I’m talking cinnamon bliss in a cup—it felt like I was sipping on a cloud. If there’s such a thing as a drink that heals your soul, this might be it. Yum doesn’t even begin to cover it.
And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, the customer service was off the hook! From the moment my son and I walked in, we were treated like old friends. The staff at Tony’s are so friendly that it felt like we were having lunch at a family reunion—minus the awkward small talk.
I’m so glad I took the chance to have lunch with my son at Tony’s Taco Shop. Watching him enjoy those tacos with a huge smile made the whole experience even more memorable.
Tony’s Taco Shop, you’ve got the perfect combo of taco magic and top-tier service. You’ve won over my heart (and my stomach), and you’ve officially gained a loyal customer!
Stay tuned for more hard-hitting (and taco-filled) reports right here at KLIT!
