We really enjoyed our visit here. The restaurant is quaint, clean, and welcoming. It has a nice vibe. The staff were all welcoming and very friendly, and our server was very attentive and fun to interact with. We got the meat specialty pizza, and it was also delicious. The pizza is Greek style, or at least that’s what I call it. A little bit thicker than New York style, not quite as crispy, or floppy. (If you like New York Pizza, you know what I mean.) They also serve Greek food, which we will hopefully get to try the next time we are here.

I’ve lived in Columbia for 8 years and passed Tony’s many times, but this was my first time to eat there. Lunch time was not very busy, my order was taken quickly and arrived quickly. I had the New York Style Calzone. The portion was generous, and fillings were adequate. I’m not going to say this was the best calzone that I have ever had, but it was very, very good. I did ask for a second little cup of marinara sauce for dipping because it would have been a bit too dry without the marinara. I like the atmosphere of a locally owned small Italian/Greek restaurant. It was $20 for the calzone and an iced tea. I will definitely look for an opportunity to go back again sometime and try a pasta dish or gyro.

I’ve been going here for the better part of 30 years. The restaurant is headed ups and downs, but I can say with certainty that it is better now than it has been in a very long time. I had a pizza which was very good, my daughter had the spaghetti which she has been eating ever since she was one. The garlic cheese bread is extremely good. We will definitely be returning after a long absence.

The staff was so friendly. We ordered the pizza with cheese bread, a Greek and garden salad and a Stromboli. The food was delicious. The pizza crust was crispy and the ingredients were fresh.

Overpriced, mediocre pizza. Their “large” is only 14″ and it had a thin, hard crust with not much topping. The flavor was not bad but tasted not like any real Italian pizza I have ever had.

2023-05: I’ve enjoyed the food I’ve had from Tony’s. Consistent quality and service. I’ve never actually dined in, only had to-go orders. Always ready on time.
