Oh Tony, I ordered a stromboli and received a calzone. All the toppings were in the middle, it reminded me of how comedians make fun of the way people make burritos. Like are they from Earth? Do they understand eating? And when I pulled apart my calzone, liquid oozed out. It was fine, just like when your wife says nothing is wrong, it’s fine. Service was pleasant, they just didn’t give me the correct order. I chuckled to myself because it was my second visit and both times, I thought I am never coming back here again. It is locked in my brain now.

The owner here is super nice and friendly. More importantly humble. Nothing like the condescending, rude, braggadocios poor excuse for an owner at Lorenzo’s pizza. Go see my review for Lorenzo’s which I already posted prior to this review.
Anyway before I get off track. If you want NY style pizza whilst also receiving respectable and professional service come here. Doesn’t hurt that the pizza is amazing as well.

❤️ Tony’s Pizza is freaking awesome. First of all, the people are really good humans. They are always fun and nice and take care of their customers. Yesterday my daughter was hungry and he unlocked and let us in and made us a fresh slice. On top of that the pizza is huge and delicious NY style pizza. They also have fantastic philly style subs and other Italian food.

I’ve been going to Tony’s for over 2 years now. This is your Ballantyne neighborhood pizza place. They remember your name, they remember your order, and they are always making their customers happy. I will go out of my way to stop by this location because it’s hands down the best pizza around. It’s best to eat it there hot and crispy 🙂

Tony’s has been a go-to spot for me since moving here in 2007. They deliver consistent quality food for a fair price. I mostly use take out, but occasionally dine in, and find the interior to be clean and tidy. My favorites – besides their pizza – are their philly subs and their chicken parm subs. They have the best mozzarella sticks in south Charlotte (possibly all Charlotte). They also keep their soda machine in great order – fizziest Pepsi to be found, which is perfection with a slice of pizza!

Got pizza and meatballs for take-out. Hard to beat the pizza locally and we have tried several spots as of late. Crisp thin crust. The large was pretty big as well. The meatballs were not worth the $4. 4 small meatballs. Not sure if they were hand-made or frozen. I was expecting some baseball size ones. I was going to get wings…but $2 apiece…ouch. We will continue to get pizza there.

My first experience with Tonys .. Gotta say it was great and I definitely will be back ! Got takeout .. The worx ( so glad I got the smaller pizza as it was huge ! ) a Stromboli, an Italian club and a single slice to eat there and I couldn’t even finish it !
