The undercarriage was a bit burnt and if it wasn’t, the pepperoni pizza may have tasted better. The ingredients were fresh and hopefully it was just an overcooked pizza. I have to say the garlic knots lacked garlic. If there was more garlic the taste would have been much better. The person who made the pizza also took my order and gave me a free sample of the bruschetta which is definitely worth a try.

Tony’s has been my go-to pizza spot since I moved here from Chicago 7 years ago, and it’s the one place I keep coming back to. The pizza is consistently great with a crispy, flavorful crust (we add no extras always request it well done), and their homemade meatballs are truly outstanding – so good I order them on their own every time. It’s a small, family-run spot with reasonable prices, a welcoming feel, and thoughtful touches like complimentary bruschetta while you wait. Not fancy, just real, comforting, consistently good food in my experience – and for me, the definition of a local favorite.

I was in Ponte Vedra for one night staying at a 5 star hotel. Was in the mood for a pizza and hit up Trip Advisor and Tony’s came up number 1. This is serious great New York pizza. Tiny hole in the wall place actually adds charm. Not really a placevto eat in but fantastic pizza to go.

We ate at Tony’s pizza a few nights ago. We had an extra large pepperoni, a white pizza, antipasta salad and garlic knots. The knots were tasty but so thick we had to be careful not to choke. There was no marinara provided and we didn’t know we needed to order separately. It definitely needs it. The antipasta salad was my far my least favorite antipasta salad. There were a ton of fresh veggies, but a little too much. Like carrots and cauliflower, and little meat and cheese. The white pizza was unusually thick but it had flavor. The pepperoni was not liked by us at all. This was our first visit and the take out service was ok. They gave me a sample of bruschetta which was really good. I’d hope the rest of the food would be the same but no. 3 stars because it was ok. I toggled between 2 and 3 stars but since the service was decent I went up.

WOW! The pizza was so worth it. Biggest pizza I’ve seen in my life. Felt like I was on the TV Man vs Food with how comedically large the pizza is. If it stays the same price as it is now then my 5 stars will stay up forever

Grabbed a couple of slices on a whim… AWESOME! The slices were large and there was plenty of meat toppings to satisfy. Well done! The crust was perfect. I ate every bit which rarely happens. I’ll definitely be back for more. I’d like to try one of their classic Italian dishes too! See y’all soon…

Amazing food and Pete makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in the door. He cooks from the heart and you can tell as the food is just like home.
His grandma pie is incredible and I lived in Brooklyn for 11 years so I know my way around a pizza.

We had the Margherita pizza and half cheese and half pepperoni pizza. Both were very good. They even give you some bruschetta while you wait.

Was there last night. Would have been an awesome pie if the crust wasn’t burnt black on the bottom. I kept tasting burnt charcoal along with the pizza goodness on top….sooooo disappointing! There was only one high top table in the place and absolutely no chairs so had to sit on bench outside while waiting for pizza. This was @ 8:30 p.m. when the sign said they were open til 10:00 p.m. “Bummer Man”…he delivers! First time there and was so stoked at the quality that I figured I’d be back weekly until I noticed it was burnt black. Not gonna chance it again, sorry.

I walked into Tony’s last night needing a pizza quickly. The restaurant has the feel of the pizza places of my youth in New York and the northeast. We had the Margherita that was delicious. Their marinara sauce is one of the best that any of us have ever had. I strongly recommend Tony’s!!
