Tony’s is a great place for pizza and subs. My family lives in Sumter and whenever we want to go out for a family night, we go to Tonys. I remember asking my niece a few months ago why she ordered a sub… “the pizza is so good, why would you ever order anything else?!” Her response was perfect, “try this…” Now when I go, I get an Italian sub AND a slice of pizza. I always say I am going to take half my sub home (but tbh, it’s so good, I always eat it before we leave). I live in Columbia and don’t mind driving an hour to eat at Tony’s with my Dad, sister, nieces and nephew! As long as you don’t try to eat salad while everyone else gets subs and pizza, you won’t be disappointed!!

I ordered two slices of pizza. The pizza was good and hot until I spotted a strand of hair on the slice I was eating. I called the store to let the know. I told them that I did not want another slice, nor a refund. I was informing them so the could do a better job of quality control.
The lady I spoke with asked me “what kind of hair was it? They all have their hair pulled back”. I stated to her that “I didn’t inspect the hair”. At that point, I felt like she was questioning my integrity. I had already told her that I didn’t want anything from them. It was a courtesy call. The conversation was going nowhere.
Poor customer service at best. All she needed to say was “I’m sorry this happened” and we could have moved on.
