Been here before but never did a review. Stopped in around dinner time and found it wasn’t too busy. I opted for potato skins, salad and the blackened gulf shrimp. The skins were great, had good flavor and were large in size but cooked perfectly. My salad was good, fresh no slimy lettuce. My shrimp were huge in size and hot but over seasoned with salt. I had to eat them with my baked potato to even it out but all in all it was good. My potato wasn’t hurt in fact would not even melt the butter but they were busy and honestly it’s not the serious.
Our other order was a buffalo chicken sandwich and waffle fry’s. The sandwich was flavorful and good size. Waffle fry’s …… love them and the seasoning.
Our waiter was busy with several large tables but we never felt ignored. He was attentive and always had our drinks filled

I can’t say enough great things about this place! The house salad and Alfredo pasta were the best I have had in a very long time! The waiter was very helpful with the menu recommendations. Nice selection of alcoholic options. The atmosphere is very rustic and romantic. Very affordable!

I dined here for the first time this past weekend. 10/10 would recommend! We went on a Sunday evening and I was surprised by the large dining crowd….a testament of this establishment’s dedicated patrons.
We ordered the Frank’s combo and the 16oz ribeye with au grautin potatoes. Highly recommend all of those items as well as their housemaid French dressing. Our only regret…..that we didn’t visit sooner! Will definitely be returning! Kudos to our server, Mariah, she was very attentive and a pleasure to have as a server!

It was a solid good. I’m not rushing to go back but I absolutely would.
Parking is easy in that area, there is a lot right behind it.
The atmosphere is fine looking. Nothing special. It was a little cold the air was blowing right on us so bring a sweater.
Out server was awesome.
The food was all good. We split the white nachos and they were just fine. The meal came with bread and honey butter. My husband loved his steak. I got the house pasta which came with shrimp which was a ton of food – I got 2 leftover meals from it. I would probably get it again next time.

Where do I start? First Lindsay was an incredible waitress!! My husband and I have been in St Charles for so long and have never been here. Absolutely phenomenal! We will be regulars. Each dish was perfectly made. Really loved the filet, literally melt in your mouth. Can’t wait to back!

I was enjoying my birthday, walking down Main Street, and I got hungry and stepped into Tony’s on Main. This was my first visit, and I sat at the bar. I was craving some beef. Upon the bartender’s recommendation, I ordered the peppered medallions with au gratin potatoes and a side salad. The sauce on the medallions was delicious and the potatoes were so amazing and cheesy with a hint of bacon. The service was friendly and attentive. I noticed that they had great happy hour specials with food and drinks. I look forward to returning. It was dark at the bar, hence the dark pictures.

I made reservations and we got there are little earlier, we had to wait some which wasnt a big deal. We were seated in nice booth, kind of in a busy spot but it was ok. It seemed romantic and private still. We came to celebrate a birthday and to have a nice dinner. We both got the steak Alexander, which was beyond good. The meat melted in your mouth and they covered it with the local cheese called provel. Also included mushrooms and onions on the meat too. I did a side of Au gratain potatoes. You could tell it was all freshly made and unique too. It came with a fresh salad and fresh bread as well. We also got the chicken nachos appetizer for the birthday guy. They were ok, i don’t know if I’d get them if they werent part of the birthday. I think everything tasted great. I loved the atmosphere and our waitress was excellent and very attentive. There is also a happy hour that you can sit outside on the little porch area up top. I wanted to do that but we didnt get there in time. But I would try the happy hour if I was you! St. Charles has a cute little downtown area and this is one of the great restaurants there. I’d go there again.

We celebrated a big anniversary here. We were going splurge to get nice, top notch steak.
Man, we were very disappointed with the steaks. The ribeyes were tough, stringy, just kind of bland tasting. I don’t think the butter helps anything. We didn’t complain, but probably should have said something. My wife brought about half of hers home, but just threw it in the trash the next day.
She did say the Fettuccine Alfredo side was delicious.
Spending this kind of money should get a really good steak.

I recently celebrated my birthday in October at Tony’s On Main, and it was the perfect setting for a special night out with family. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between fine dining and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. We started with the nachos, which were loaded with fresh, flavorful toppings and were the perfect kickoff to our meal. For the main course, we each ordered steaks topped with shrimp, and they were nothing short of exceptional – perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor.
The restaurant itself is in a beautiful, historic building, which added to the experience. After our meal, we couldn’t resist the homemade desserts, which were as incredible as the rest of the food. To end the evening, we took a peaceful walk by the river, just steps from the restaurant. It was a perfect ending to a memorable evening. I highly recommend Tony’s On Main to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a casual, yet refined setting. It’s clear why they’re rated the #1 Steakhouse in St. Charles – they truly deserve it!
