This Mexican spot near my house, Tony’s; I wanted to believe in. When they first opened, the food was a disaster, so I walked away. Years later, they redeemed themselves—I was hooked. Loyal. Faithful. Almost emotional.
But tonight?
No A/C.
Drinks with no backbone.
Chips that died days ago.
Rice doing its best impression of oatmeal.
And a meal straight out of my nightmares.
I’m done. For real this time.
Tell the cook I said goodbye—and the microwave too!

1st, the salsa is very different, not a super fan – kind of tastes like marinara sauce… We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, the flavor was good but…. where was the alcohol? Wayyy too much ice and they didn’t salt the cup rims. Disappointing cuz the pitcher price is also higher than most other restaurants.. The chimichanga was good, rice and beans sub-par. The carne asada was good but not GOOD… We tried it out. ♀️

From out of town. Visited a couple years ago, loved the food. In town again and game back today, food is just as delicious! Service was very friendly as well. Love the Chicken Fiesta! I ate some before taking the photo!!

This is Nashville’s best kept secret. The food is amazing and always fresh. You can tell that the owner cares about the product and satisfying the customer and that means so much. The fajitas are the best! What you see here is the chicken fajitas (two different videos from two different visits) and the shrimp and chicken fajita. Also, if you love a good margarita, you’ll love their frozen pineapple margarita pitcher. A margarita plus your girlfriends means hours of talking and laughing.

They have a wide variety of margarita flavors and sizes. The peach and pineapple mix is delicious. Good salsa and enjoyed the guacamole. Solid neighborhood restaurant with ample seating for a group, they have outdoor seating too.

*Update… Someone from Tony’s reached out and apologized for my order, invited me back and replaced the order. It was 10x’s better and very good. The food was seasoned well and it was what i expected the first time. Everyone there was very friendly. I will definitely be back. Thank you for making a bad situation a much better one.
Very disappointed. I had heard good things about Tony’s and decided to try their fajitas Jalisco. It was mainly all onions and peppers. There was only 2.3 oz of chicken and 4 small very over cooked shrimp. (I have to measure all foods before I eat) I could see if this were a lunch portion maybe but the dinner portion not so much. I will continue to drive to my regular place 45 minutes away.

First Impression: It’s margarita time! This restaurant is fairly new, easy to find and the service is excellent. Visit ASAP because the food is authentic and too good. After we went home I literally dreamed of going back and will be visiting Tony’s again soon.

The staff was great very eager to serve. I had a steak fajita and the onions were caramelized wonderfully. The pico was fresh and had a nice heat to it not so spicy but very present. The steak on my fajita was slightly overcook but was still delicious.
