I love crunchy shredded beef tacos. And this restaurant has some of the best.I’ve ever had!
I ordered the taco plate which usually comes with just one taco, but I ordered 2 it also comes with refried beans and mexican rice.
The tortilla that was used to make my taco.Shells tasted like it was made today. My taco shell tasted like it was cooked to order. And this establishment loads up your taco. Shell with fresh shredded beef. Absolutely perfect!
The beans are definitely homemade.And they taste delicious. There’s even a few beans inside the refried bean. pile that didn’t quite get mashed all the way. Just like mom used to make
The rice was okay. It could use some work though.
This place is cal-mex dining at its finest. The employee’s are friendly and this establishment is clean.

Been coming here to this location for 35 years and to their San Bernardino spot for 40 years. Ordered a ground beef taco, bean & cheese burrito & tostada. Can’t mess those up. Well taco had maybe 1/4 teaspoon of ground beef mixed with potato so like 1/8 of ground beef and it was mostly packed with lettuce and cheese. NO FLAVOR! The bean and cheese burrito tortilla was hard as a rock like toasted and barely any cheese and just not good. Only thing decent with the tostada. This is NOT normal! You guys need to address whoever is running this location. I’ve never ever experienced poor quality food at either locations. Was so disappointed with the food at the Riverside Tony’s. Decided to go to San Bernardino location a few days later to get my Tony’s fix & was great like always! Get it together Riverside!

Taco Tuesday used to be the best, but now the shredded beef tacos are too expensive at $3.00 each for “Taco Tuesday” and they were not even loaded like they used to be. It had been a while since we had gone, but can easily tell that the tacos were far less filled in every category, beef, cheese and lettuce. 15 tacos was over $41.00!

I’ve hear great things about this restaurant and checked their menu before I placed my order. When I arrived the prices were not was was posted on their menu. When I brought this to their attention, they stated it was Google fault and random people post pictures. They would not not honor the price and I left without the order.
They should take the picture that are not associated with their menu down to avoid such misrepritention.

Definitely hate to do this because I love this place but I Ordered food tonight got home fed the kids first and the tacos were wrong. I asked for plain chicken taco plate and the tacos came with lettuce tomato cheese , beans were so dry and sad . Our shredded beef tacos were extremely dry and only filled half the taco , All tacos were cracked , I thought the asada quesadillas (we ordered two) were fine but when I opened them all the way the grease was so bad it’s inedible. I cooked it a little more in hopes it would help but my guac and sour cream didn’t taste so well. I called and they are super close to closing MINUTES (I called and picked up after 7pm , got off early so went after work) they wanted me to bring the food back within their own time frame mind you I live 15 min away and my husband went to get the kids tacos from del taco 5 minutes away (the kids were starving at this point ) the worker stated I had to bring the food back in order to get a refund or it remade. I’m not sure what time ima get off work tomorrow normally don’t make it home til 8pm but they NEED AND WANT the food back I have pictures and videos but they want the food. I work 8-8 I paid 70.00 for food that was pretty bad. Ima have to take the L with how much I paid for food we didn’t get to eat and enjoy but I can definitely share my pictures and experience here (: I wouldn’t recommend this place

Good home mexican food! good for take out! we had the menudo, loved that you can get it with out the hominy, my husband had the street tacos, gave it an ok, our friend ms had the fried fish in garlic sauce and said it was the best his had! taquitos and guacamole were also good, but i did not like that they charge extra for chips, need some improvement in the salas.

Been going here since the 90s and $.50 tostada Saturday’s. It’s the one place I always make time for when back in town. Love it. The hot sauce is brilliant.
