I grew up eating Tony’s, they have the BEST refried beans on this planet! I’ve traveled all over the U.S. and several other countries and have yet to find better beans. I’ve spent 20 years trying to replicate them since I now live in Arizona, it all comes down to the lard they use. I need to know this secret lard and my life will be complete. I’ve been addicted ever since they had .50 cent tostadas back in the day. Those days are gone but the beans and hot sauce haven’t changed a bit and I highly recommend trying it out!! If anyone knows the secret lard, plz let me know, I won’t tell a soul.

It’s a little hole-in-the-wall spot that, I won’t lie, looks a bit so-so. But, the staff is friendly and the food is great! I highly recommend the salsa verde fries with cheese!

The food here is bomb! I have gone to the Tony’s in SB and this one is just as good. Although they can stuff the hard Shell taco with more cheese like the other location does. The chili verda was probably better then the SB location.
