Tony’s Italian Deli is easily one of the best Italian sandwiches I’ve had in my entire life! The food is absolutely delicious, the staff is professional and courteous, and for the price you simply will not find a better Italian sandwich anywhere in the area.
We ordered The Stallone and The Rocky, and both were fantastic with their own unique flavors. Each sandwich was made with generous amounts of gourmet meats, and the bread was fresh, airy, and perfectly crispy. The red peppers on The Rocky were especially delicious, and the combination of meats and pesto on The Stallone was amazing. Both sandwiches were drizzled with olive oil and red wine vinegar, which absolutely put them over the top, the kind of touch you’d expect from a genuine Italian restaurant.
The value is outstanding! For only about $17 per person for a 12-inch sandwich, bag of chips, and bottomless fountain soda. The dining area was kept continuously clean, the staff was friendly and professional, and while there were steady crowds, it never felt overwhelming. It was a really enjoyable, simple, and comfortable atmosphere that fit the meal perfectly.
Overall, I give Tony’s Italian Deli two enthusiastic thumbs up! They deserve every one of Yelp’s five stars! This is truly one of the best sandwich shops I’ve ever visited, and I will definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended fantastic sandwich shop!

Heard about this place. Went to go try it. They have lots of good looking sandwiches. The same you received you’re actually match what the picture looks like on the menu. That’s a first for me. The Stallone was very good. You get oil and seasonings all over your hands but hey, it’s worth it.

Glad I discovered this place. I will be back.

If i could, id give it a 3.5 stars. I ordered the stalone and the chicken parm. The stalone was good, it was my favorite from the two. make sure to get it toasted. On the other hand I didn’t not like the chicken parm for one reason, the chicken felt and tasted old. I put some pictures and you can see how it’s really stringy and the lack of white color from the chicken breast . I might be wrong and it could have just been over cooked. But it was unpleasant. Everything thing else like the cheese and sauce was pretty good. I wanted to be wowed but I was just good for me. Very over hyped. But still good. Amazing service . Thank you !

For 15 years, after moving to Texas from Brooklyn, we missed Italian sandwiches. This place delivers! Craving for meatball sandwich satisfied! Glad we found Tony’s. Worth the 30 minutes drive. We need one in Cypress!

Delicious meatball sub. (It’s not spicy)

These sandwiches are huge. I could only eat one portion of mine. Service was fast and friendly.

They showcase a large selection of paper plate art on their walls.

This is a new favorite to our rotation. Only negative thing I can say is the drink machine was out of most options due to a very busy week for them. (That’s a positive sign, really).

Sandwiches were HUGE. Lesson for next time is to size down. Front counter guy had a fantastic attitude and was very welcoming. A little slow from order to ready (24 minutes) but that just means they are busy!

We will be back to try some of the other options.

Came here today after having my physical therapy ladies suggest several times for me to come by here. I ordered the Minelli, their Reuben sandwich, to give it a try. The sauerkraut was still cold on the warm sandwich, and when I inquired about it, they said they would fix it, which they did. It was a tasty sandwich. I would come back here again.

Update: Came back today and had a DeVito, and it was fantastic!

Another update: Came back yet again, and tried the Stallone toasted. Super fantastic!

Me and my daughter came here today for lunch and is the best deli sub I’ve ever had. I have not stopped thinking about it. It’s 40 minutes from me and I almost turned around when I got home to go back for another. Definitely worth a drive. Was amazing!!!

We went on a Saturday and it was busy, we still got our food in a timely manner and our orders were taken quickly and efficiently! Food all came out nice and hot. Sandwiches were all great, pickles were good as well. The potato salad was very mid, I wouldn’t get it again and don’t recommend it.

We got the Ham and Cheese, and then The Davito. Both were great sizes, and came with a really nice portion of meat. I recommend trying it out. Great place for a quick bite.

Very disappointing prices go up quality and The amount of meat and sides that go in the sandwich have gone down. I’ve been going to Tony’s from day one since they opened in Montgomery. I knew the original owners This place sure has gone downhill. This review is only for the Tomball location, not Montgomery. You never used to be able to see the sides of the bread. The sandwiches were always loaded now they’re only about half ways. No kind greeting when I went in no thank you no Goodbye no kind of hospitality at all. There was about five workers in there at the time. They were more concerned with conversation amongst themselves and on their phones then with customers.
