Tony’s Deli in Edison Park is a great neighborhood spot with tons of niche items you can’t really find anywhere else. It’s family owned and operated, and you genuinely feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in.

Their subs are excellent—fresh, packed, and always hit the spot. I also love the take-home, heat-and-eat options. The prepped lasagna is perfect for an easy dinner, and the stuffed (whatever you choose—peppers/shells/etc.) are a must if you see them available.

If you’re in the area and want a deli that feels welcoming and delivers on quality, Tony’s is the place.

A lively Italian grocery store with a fantastic deli. Their homemade Italian sausage (mild or hot) is THE BEST! Another great deli item is their thinly sliced Italian beef with au jus. They also have delicious pizza, arancini, and fresh sub sandwiches made to order. You can pick up a wide selection of frozen items as well. Wide selection of imported cheese and pastas. Add to all this, GREAT family friendly service. This type of place is a rarity – go see for yourself!

Tony’s Italian Deli & Subs is everything you hope a classic Italian spot will be—warm, welcoming, and absolutely overflowing with flavor. The moment you step in, the aroma of fresh bread, imported cheeses, and house-made specialties sets the tone. The staff treats you like family, remembering your favorites and making sure every order comes out perfect.

The sandwiches here are on a whole different level. The bread is always fresh, the meats are sliced to order, and the portions are generous without being sloppy. Whether it’s their Italian combo stacked high with premium cold cuts or one of their hot specialty subs, every bite is packed with authentic, old-school deli goodness. You can taste the care and craft in every ingredient.

What really seals the five stars, though, is the overall experience—Tony’s delivers the kind of comfort and quality that keeps you coming back. It’s the neighborhood deli every town wishes it had. A must-visit for anyone who loves real Italian subs done right.

Wow! Tried this place on a whim. Drove almost an hour for what ended up being the best italian sub sandwiches. It is the old fashioned neighborhood grocery/deli store run by the same family for years. Freshest of breads (Turano) and meats and produce, etc. All the prepared frozen foods have been amazing as well. Have gone back twice since.

Have been to Tony’s hundreds of times. All the food tastes amazing. I have 1 issue. I bought a Meat Lasagna and paid $40. It didn’t lack anything but meat. There was a few pieces here and there but it was mostly cheese. I was thinking there would be at least 1 or 2 layers of meat, but it looked like they took some meat and sprinkled it here and there on top.Again, it tasted great but I would have just bought the meatless one for cheaper. Not a big reason to stop going there but will think twice when I want to buy a Meat Lasagna for $40. But again…it tastes amazing.

Great subs, classic Italian always the best, with everything. Best Giardinera around, hot pepper spread still my favorite. I bring a jar or 3 home every time I’m in town from Colorado.

Super super cute family owned spot! Not a lot of great deli’s in the area but this was an awesome stop. The staff is SO kind! Although we only tried the deli food the market was well stocked and I look forward to getting supplies to make an authentic Italian dish! Highly recommend

Whhhaaaaat. I’ve had many a sub at this place over the years. Very tasty. Today I decide to get an Italian on focaccia. Game changer. Easily feed a few. Best sandwich ever. Chocolate tiramisu was also so delicious. In the neighborhood it’s a legend. If your not close….. trust me this place is worth a cruise if you want authentic Italian…. anything.

Went in here to try their Italian Sub and was not expecting how good it was. It was incredible. Had to get some pasta salad and a cannoli as well which I highly recommend. The staff there was very pleasant and fun to talk to. If you are in the area or just want a really good sandwich, I recommend you stop here.
