Ragin’ Cajun
For the longest time, they’ve had this beautiful Ficus plant in their lobby that is half alive. Slowly dying. Needs a bigger pot. Makes you wonder what else they’re neglecting in there.

Went there for the first time the other day with a group of friends. It was a very nice calm, quiet, relaxed sushi bar that I’ve been to. The staff of super nice and kept checking in with us and refilling our drinks. I ordered two rolls and it came to about $22 they have an all-you-can-eat option which is $30 it’s only a few dollars more so if you get three roles I would recommend getting the all-you-can-eat option. But do you have in mind whatever rolls you don’t finish they charge you full price for. Overall the place was great the service was amazing the food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was nice chill and relaxed. If this is a sushi place that you want to go to that’s local I definitely recommend it.

The overall experience was definitely nice. They had a pretty big variety of sushi rolls which were all really big. We staid with the sake nigiri mostly, but since we were a party 4 men, we had a lot of different rolls, too.
Service was good, the quality of the food kind of okay and the atmosphere a little cold, but still okay. We would come back.

I had an amazing sushi lunch at Tony’s Sushi Bar in Layton, Utah today! The fish was incredibly fresh, and the rolls were crafted with precision and care. I tried the Spicy Tuna Roll and the Tony Special – both were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The cozy atmosphere and quick service make it a must-visit spot for sushi lovers. Highly recommend this gem in Layton – I’ll be back soon!

This place is a joke.
I had high hopes for it. I’ve been told by multiple people to come here. We were so excited to try it.
Takes them forever to get the paper from your table to make the rolls, even longer to get the rolls. No wonder it’s all you can eat, when they only serve you a few at a time and then you get filled up on drink/appetizers while you wait an hour between rolls.
I got the steak teppanyaki. Steak was not edible as it was super tough, the asparagus in my veggies was stringy and not able to be eaten. And the soup was so full of black pepper it was spicy, even though there is not supposed to be pepper in miyabi soup.
I informed them about the soup, waitress didn’t seem to care. and then when I mentioned the steak, she said it’s cooked well done unless specified other. Then she OFFERED to replace the protein. When I said that’s fine, she said “because you ate most of the meal, I will have to charge you for the chicken” WHAT?? Why did you offer it then? The steak is inedible. It’s going to the trash.
Won’t be coming here again. Worst sushi restaurant experience I’ve had.
Inside is not inviting.

We are in town visiting family and a large group of us went for ayce sushi. We eat sushi a lot in California, but have yet to find the go to place for it out here. Unfortunately Tony’s is not it. The Service was great. We had 3 separate ladies helping us at different times. They were all very helpful. The accommodated our group of 10 without difficulty. The sushi left something to be desired. It was very heavy with rice and not very flavorful. Sad to say, we are still searching for our sushi spot in Northern Utah.
