Tony’s Diner has all the things a diner should. Good coffee, nice staff, fast home-cooked food. Anisha (maybe misspelled) was our server and she was very attentive and made sure our coffee was filled which filled our hearts. We also met Tony the owner and he is a kind man.

Quaint little dinner in the hills of Trinidad New Mexico. The food was fantastic, and you can tell the food is made from scratch. And the deserts are sooooo good and also homemade. Would highly recommend the visit.

French fries were amazing. Cheeseburger was good. French dip not pictured was really good. Waitress was nice. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped after a doctors appointment. Food was so good! We had french toast and a bacon omelet. Plenty of stuffing in the omelet and french toast cooked perfectly. The bacon was so good! Coffee steaming hot and tasty. Server on top of refills and friendly. Tony himself came out to check on us. Try it out you wont be disappointed

For a diner, this place is awesome. The server was extremely nice and caring and was very knowledgeable about food allergies (my partner is celiac and they handled it beautifully without us even having to explain what is needed). We were visiting the area and could tell everyone else was a local and knew each other, which is how you *know* the food is good. We both got burgers, which were great, and I was a big fan of the fries. It was just what we needed during a long drive. It is a bit dirty inside, but that’s the diner vibe ‍♀️ (pictured is the burger on gluten free bread)

We really enjoyed this restaurant. We are always on the lookout for good food at affordable prices served with a smile and a thank you for your business, and Tony’s fits the bill to a tee! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and our meal was deliciously prepared. We loved the old sodashop/diner experience and we will definitely be back! Thank you, Tony’s, for an excellent dinning experience!

Portions were great, that’s pretty much the only positive. We came in and had to walk around a few minutes before anyone noticed we were there even though we apparently walked by the waitress on the way in. 7 of us but only got 3 menus, food did come out quick for that many of us but the Food was just not worth the price. Almost $90 not including tip and 3 of the meals were kids meals. Incredibly hot with no ac/fans and the amount of flies were very unsanitary. The reviews made the place look great but has obviously gone way down hill in the last few years.

The absolute worst. I always support mom and pop restaurants so I was in town for the night and thought I would give it a try. I ordered a chicken fried steak and the waitress informed me they were out of white gravy but she had brown. She brought me the plate and apologized for the consistency of the “gravy”. Well if you have to apologize for the food, maybe you shouldn’t bring it out. The gravy was slightly thicker than the iced tea I had, I kid you not. And I would bet my last dollar the chicken fried steak was frozen and microwaved, the kind Walmart sells. If I am wrong I am sorry but the breading was far too consistent to have been hand made and the steak was as thin as deli roast beef. The menu said it came with vegetables but none came. The mashed potatoes were store bought were horrible. Take your business elsewhere. The service was fine though.
