Okay the food was actually pretty good. I ordered the Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and shrimp fried rice. Food was definitely the most pleasant part of my experience. However, the atmosphere itself still needs a lot of work. Tables didn’t have much to offer other than salt, like some soy sauce would be pretty good with napkins. Walls didn’t have much, definitely needs a bit more aesthetic feel to it. This place definitely has a lot of potential.

A Chinese place that does what it needs to. Certainly no frills, but the food comes out fresh it’s a pretty good quality, and the dinner meal deal is a pretty good value at $13.00. Got the Mongolian beef and it was definitely well sauced, and the meet portion was generous with good flavor. The dinner came with Rangoons and fried rice. They also gave us Jasmine Tea for free, and that was definitely a pleasant surprise that was welcome with the meal. Certainly convenient for me since it was near MDW. Fast and attentive service.

I love the food here so much! I’ve been ordering from here for 1 year, and I won’t ever order Chinese from anywhere else. I will say I spend a tiny bit more here, but it’s so worth it. The food is delicious every single time! The chicken, shrimp, and beef taste so fresh, and doesn’t have the nasty freezer taste you get at other Chinese restaurants. The portions are also pretty good!

Editing my review: In a recent visit, I was charged almost $2 more compared to the menu price for each item I ordered (dinner combo and Mongolian beef). I ordered the Mongolian beef to go, and upon warming it up discovered a hair (I have short coily hair, there’s no way this is mine) and the bottom of the bowl supplemented with random noodles instead of more beef. Definitely disheartening.
In short: The meal was fresh, delicious and fairly priced. The customer service was friendly and attentive from a distance. They have a new regular in me!
I came in very close to their closing time (not purposefully) but they still treated me courteously as a dine-in customer. All of my food was cooked fresh to order. I chose the dinner special, which comes with an entree (I chose ginger chicken with no carrots), egg fried rice, and crab rangoon. I also ordered vegetable spring rolls, but it seemed like I received vegetable egg rolls instead, which I didn’t mind, because they were delicious. The ginger chicken had a present ginger flavor that didn’t overpower the delicate flavors of all the vegetables. The vegetables included were bell peppers, baby corn, snow pea pods, onions, and broccoli. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, long enough to soak up the flavor of the ginger sauce, but short enough to keep their crunchy texture. The egg fried rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, it did not require any extra soy sauce. The crab rangoon had a crispy, flakey exterior and a creamy, soft center, I almost ordered more despite not having the stomach space! The vegetable egg/spring rolls were filled with shredded cabbage and diced carrots, and came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Though I did prefer the sauce with the crab rangoon as opposed to the rolls, it did still enhance the flavor. The filling was tender and flavorful, with the same crunchy wrapping as the crab rangoon. You can tell that the crab rangoon and rolls were cooked fresh as well, not sitting under a heat lamp until someone orders them. An amazing meal with great customer service. Glad I don’t have to order all the way from Chinatown to get good American Chinese cuisine!

This is by far the best Chinese food we have had since moving to Chicago over 20 yrs ago (with the exception of our local Chinatown). The veggie noodles are similar to Singapore noodles minus the curry, chili chicken, Mongolian beef, combo fried rice, and crab Rangoon all 10/10. This is our new favorite spot.

Hispanic people making Chinese food. I was skeptical but it was delicious! We had the Mongolian beef, combination fried rice, and crab Rangoon. All of it was 10 out of 10. I wish the crab Rangoon had a little sweetness to them like some other places.

Honestly one of the expensive sides of Chinese foods with little portion sizes. The only serving size “large” is a small bowl like chipotle. Food is good, poor portions, priced high. Little options.
