First impression- not busy at all, at 9:30 On a Sunday, not even half full. We were sat as soon as we walked in the door waitress got our drinks and waiter took our order. Looks like 3 waiters/waitresses for the restaurant. Tables clean but basic, not a fan of the color scheme, reminds me of an el rodeo restaurant . I would have liked more light in the restaurant. So besides my preference on paint and decor, they got me seated and my order really quick. Just brighten it up…

Food was pretty good. No complaints at all. Biscuits and Gravy are really good didn’t get them this time, but had ordered them to go in the past. Grits were cooked well. Skillet was okay, and omelette was okay. It’s nothing to rave about just good breakfast food.

Tony’s is a bit lack luster and the food portions were a bit on the small side. I have to admit the place was absolutely spotless and we were the only customers in the building so we received good service. I gave them three out of five stars because I consider them to be ordinary not extraordinary.

It was amazing. Never had a better skillet in my life! Young family owns it. Martin is the owner and cooks. His wife was waiting the tables. Their little boy, ‘Tony’ was running around with pajamas on. I highly recommend it!! They serve breakfast all day. Going back soon!!

So happy to have stumbled upon this little family owned gem! I was looking for a nice peaceful dinner that didn’t break the bank & wasn’t fast food so this place was perfect. When I entered I was greeted promptly by a kind man. I noticed the menu had lots of breakfast and lunch options mostly but I was most happy to see how much of a kids selection they had as I don’t often see many outside of your chicken tenders, pizza or Mac n cheese at other restaurants. Another bonus was the affordable pricing! I’m a mom on a budget so that’s important to me. I ended up ordering a patty melt with Chicken noodle soup & added a house salad. Everything arrived prompt, fresh & was homemade! I thanked the man for his excellent service & for the refreshing homemade comfort food! I also ended up asking him if he was Tony or how the name came about as I was curious and he said his name is Marteen & he named the place after his oldest son who was born on his birthday 🙂 I’ll definitely be back to try breakfast plus they serve it ALL DAY every day!

First time, it was ok, fries were fresh & hot. Wrap was good, rye bread on club was probably my mistake. Lots of breakfast and lunch items. Decent portion for good price.

Food is ok, I went in to order food & was barely given any, don’t know if they are cutting costs but, I didn’t appreciate that, specially for what I paid, the food is mediocre at best, I’ll stick to 4 seasons were the food is delicious & they give u enough for now & later. & now this is their new small cup of grits size went from small bowl to a toddler cup size rip off. Tony’s Cafe is a welcome addition to the 96th & Mollenkopf area (opened September 2020). My grandson treated me to breakfast recently so we decided to try Tony’s. My western omelet was outstanding and the hash browns were crispy (the way I like them). Cameron enjoyed chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. Breakfast is served all day and the morning specials are priced right. I’ll be bringing my breakfast group here and look forward to trying Tony’s for dinner soon.

My husband and I usually eat there at least once a week. Food is always outstanding. The owner and his wife are very nice and friendly. Their pancakes are exquisite and I love their fish sandwich. Haven’t had anything that wasn’t great. Food is made to order and always hot.

They know how to make a good omelet. They have a lot of kid-friendly options, and their menu is reasonably priced.
