The waitress was so kind and nice, clean place and I had the double cheese burger with bacon. It was bigger then I thought and was only able to eat half of it. Definitely going to stop again when I come by and have time. I also had the cheese sticks and they were good too. If you do plan to use a credit card they do charge 3.99% card use so just was to let you know that but other then that great place, great service and great tasting food.

I’m so tired of hearing people complaining about mom and pop restaurants having poor service, if you can do better fill out an application and show them what they are doing wrong, or having poor food quality if you can do better fill out an application and improve it….
The truth is that the average American has forgotten what food is supposed to taste like. They have become so accustomed to chain food restaurants and all the artificial poison in them.
Is this a 5 star restaurant…. no, it’s not, but it wasn’t built to be one either. I’ll definitely be back, and this is coming from a pickey eater.

The food was southern cooked to perfection. My girlfriend got the meatloaf and she said it reminded her of how her grandmother cooked it. Both of the servers were awesome and cracked jokes with us and had us laughing. The restaurant is greatly decorated with home made quilts and country memorabilia. It was also really affordable and filling. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat in the area this is it.

Greeted with a warm n cheery Good Morning on this zero degree day by Sherry, the hostess. I ordered a Tonya’s Breakfast which was 2 eggs over easy, home fries, bacon, toast and I ordered some grits on the side which were cooked perfectly. Hot coffee was good. The food was good. Excellent friendly service. Within a short walk from the Welcome Center/Rest Area. I’ve been eating here for years. It used to be the Dutch Pantry. Still friendly people and a good hot breakfast n coffee.

Really wanted mom and pop place to eat on our way home to Florida, found this place. Happy about it when we first walked in, the was told only 2 people working (cook and waitress), so of course things will get done on their time. Prices on the menu didn’t match what we were charged on the ticket, food was great except my onion rings, should have been drained before putting on a plate and bringing to the table. Whole mouth is blistered from all of the oil still in the onion rings when I took a bite, I couldn’t even finish my food, no I didn’t ask for a discount. Need more people working rather than just 2, especially when there’s a hotel right next door.

The burger was nasty, it tasted like dogfood. The crispy chicken was nasty. The lettuce, onion, and, tomatoes was frozen and cold. The services was okay, the waitress was somewhat nice but she didn’t really talk. The Atmosphere was bad since there was nothing good about the inside.
