My husband and I have been going to Tony Franks for almost five years. We have always had such a great experience and loved the staff. In the last few months it has severely gone down hill. The food was so good especially their fish. We got it again tonight for at least the twentieth time and it was SO bad. They changed it to basically frozen fish sticks…and it was just as expensive. My husband called to let them know how disappointed we were and they didn’t care or even apologize. So sad because so many of our friends and family love going there but I don’t think we will be taking anyone there or going there ourselves much anymore:-/ Also, the owner has been drunk and inappropriate on many occasions. Very sad. PLEASE go back to how it used to be!

It dark and dingy without being endearing. People rated these burgers so high, but I can’t figure out why. Technically there was nothing wrong with them, but there was nothing impressive about them either – a little too expensive for such a simple flavor.
The service is especially bad. We couldn’t even get a second beer. There only three tables in there. I don’t get it.

Someone recommend this bar for its burgers and they are not bad but the meat almost looked like it was made of cat food! Only ate about half of it. They were also out of french fries when I went there, which made it very unappealing.

There are better burgers in town. This restaurant is set in a house with most of the rooms/walls still in place, so it’s a cool place to go for a drink.
