We visited Tony C’s Sports Bar & Grill in Burlington on a Monday night and were surprised to find the place somewhat busy, with lots of big TVs and a fun atmosphere. Parking was very convenient with plenty of space, and the restaurant itself is wheelchair accessible, which makes it easy for everyone to enjoy. The location is also close to the highway, major shopping centers like Burlington Mall, and even Lahey Hospital is just a short drive away, making it quite convenient. As for the food and drinks, the salsa was not good at all and felt disappointing, and the Sam Adams American beer didn’t taste good—it even had a bit of a smelly aftertaste that we didn’t enjoy. On the other hand, the Spicy Mango Margarita really stood out—it was fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of the evening. The menu does have some variety, but vegetarian options are pretty limited, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re looking for plant-based choices. Overall, despite the salsa and beer not being a hit, the atmosphere, accessibility, great cocktails, and prime location near highways and shopping make Tony C’s a solid spot to visit.
My biggest annoyance is they do not accommodate any substitutions or modifications for online takeout. Even for allergies. Something as silly as “mayo on the side” cannot be accommodated. I tried calling in my order once and although they took my request, my food came unmodified. I’ve passed on ordering takeout countless times because of this. Also, the menu seems to never change I would appreciate some new dishes once in a while.
Bright crisp environment. Lots of memorabilia (including Mr. Conigliaro) and televisions.
I started with a Boston Tea Party:
Sun Cruiser Iced Tea Vodka, Jim Beam Bourbon, Peach Schnapps. Crisp and refreshing.
For dinner I had the Fish and Chips. The fish was flakey and tender, but the best was the batter – crunchy and light without heavy oil.
Service was great. Recommend.
I don’t see how you could go wrong going here, filling your stomach, and enjoying the atmosphere. Definitely will return again for sure. I have to take my dad, who is a huge baseball fan like me!
Not a big fan of chili burger!
