This turned my wife into a Cajun fan! I stopped by based on reviews, to pick up some of their Cajun food. Red Beans and Rice, Jambalaya, and Dirty rice were all FANTASTIC! My wife then said “wow! I now like Cajun food!” The fried chicken was also delicious, not too greasy, and had great sauce. The workers were super friendly as well!

The chicken was really good, the sauce was also very good both are spicy but awesome. Coleslaw was not tasty was blane? Biscuits was so good they were awesome. We went around 7pm and want to much of a selection at that time. Place looked pretty clean, employee was very nice and polite. We also got onion rings, lady pull out onions in marinade and mixed it up and deep fried them right there, always fresh, best onion Rings we ever eaten.

First timer here. This is the gold standard. The biscuit is unreal, the chicken is seasoned with intention, fried to perfection, crispy shell, juicy center. Most fried chicken places chase this level of greatness their whole existence and never touch it. This place casually does it.

This place is such a hidden gem. We tried the fried chicken, fried fish, red beans & rice, dirty rice, jambalaya. It was all so good ! It was probably one of the best fried chicken I’ve had. The red beans with rice was also one of my highlights.
We came back a few days later again, because it was that good ! This time I tried the onion rings and it was delicious. The staff was also amazing & friendly. I will be coming back here again, when we visit town. My advice is to get here before 8:00pm.

I’m not exaggerating when I tell you this is the best chicken in Florida. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and the flavor is so on point. Our food was fresh and hot. We had gumbo, dark chicken, shrimp and catfish basket, cheeseburger, dirty rice, red beans & rice, and biscuits. Everything was amazing!

This place has the best fried chicken I have ever had! Corn bread biscuits were so flavorful! Their fries have a Cajun seasoning on them that’s a great addition to the flavor. They gave me a sauce for the fries that’s like canes sauce but I think is better!

The food was amazing. The chicken is batter so good that it’s very crispy as well as the homemade sauce go along with it. The customer service excellent and Katie was extra extraordinary. She went above and beyond and made sure our first visit was a must’ve come back too. If you ever get a chance, definitely stop by. It’s literally across the street from Dewey Destin And down the street from the harbor. I will definitely be coming back.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! I can’t thank Katie enough for the hospitality and phenominal food!! My daughter and I found the restaurant based on the recognized seasoning name. We’ve been using the seasoning in our family for a long time in South Florida, and were excited to find the restaurant while in town for a golf tournament. We showed up and it was surprisingly empty (because we found out it was close to closing), but Katie welcomed us in like we were an immediate member of her family.
We weren’t sure what to order so we asked her what she recommends. She walked us through the menu and I said, “it all sounds great, where do we start?” :). She gave us our drinks and suggested we sit down and she would take good care of us.
We agreed to everything she suggested, and had way way too much food, but couldn’t have been happier!! The crunch on the fried chicken and tenders is fantastic, the seasoning is bold and flavorful, The marinade on the chicken shines through, The biscuits were incredible, The onion rings were fresh made and dipped to order, The jambalaya, dirty rice, and rice and beans offered a great variety, and the sauce was a welcomed Cajun kick.
We are food tourists and always look for unique spots everywhere we go. The food here is everything you would hope it would be, but the service is even better. Do yourself a favor and RUN to go see Katie anytime you’re in the area. 🙂

Got the small Tender basket and fried. The chicken was fresh, hot and delicious. Biscuit was ok, I am a Southern Buttermilk guy, so to each their own. Dipping sauce was good, but a bit salty for my taste. All in all this place is a good stop for some tasty chicken with a Louisiana flair. I will stop again while visiting the area. The staff was very friendly, even offered up free extra drink at not charge for my wife, she was just going to drink water. Don’t see this kind of kindness often
