I have been taking it cheesy with Tony for well over 20 years. This has got to be the best sub in the country. I’m not just exaggerating either. I would franchise this recipe and moto to serve up even more of these world class subs. Every time my wife and I come here she gets the turkey and I get the Italian it’s just very hearty and you can tell this guy doesn’t mess around he serves it up fresh&layered with portions. It’s a must try. Also their fries are pretty good!

Everything we’ve ordered from stuffed pizza, pasta salads, Detroit style suddenly sandwiches have always been awesome. He’s even stayed late to supply our dinner when I’ve called too late. We just love Tony’s restaurant they’re AWESOME AND FOOD IS SUPURB!!

Called to order and answered the first try. Picked up the meal and Tony was so cool. He let me try his side pasta and a piece of the Italian sub. Both were delicious. I had the muffaletta sub and it was great. Tony also gave me a container of his pepperoncini’s, soo good.

I had food catered from here back in December and it was really good. I decided to stop by here for lunch today and was disappointed. They still get 4 stars because the food I had a couple months ago was that good.
I was not aware this was TAKE OUT ONLY.
We arrived and saw that there was a pick up window with a doorbell. We rang the doorbell but after a couple of minutes no one came to the window. No menus posted anywhere. As we were leaving a guy waiting in his car said that you have to place your order online or on the phone. We left and went elsewhere.
We will try again now that we know PLACE ORDER ONLINE THEN PICK IT UP.
NO ORDERING AT THE LOCATION, FOOD PICK UP ONLY.
I hope this saves others some frustration.

As a Black woman, I often get subpar service because businesses feel they can be extra casual when dealing with me. I went to Tony Ba’Loney’s for the first time and saw that you order/pick up from a window. It was freezing outside, but Tony chit chatted with an Italian-looking woman about liking her car (after he’d already handed her her order) with no concern for me waiting and in the cold. Then when they finished chatting, he said to me, “What’s up?” like he was annoyed. I should have left then bc that’s unprofessional, but I asked for a pizza to which he said, “We’re closed. We close at 4:00.” It was a little before 4:00 when I arrived, but he chatted with that woman until 4. I’m not upset they were closed, which is understandable, just that he was so nonchalant about keeping me waiting in the cold when he could have simply said, “Sorry we’re closed” sooner.

My wife and I stopped in to try their subs after seeing a video on TikTok that looked amazing. To our surprise, the quality of the subs match the reputation on the video. The pasta salad was amazing as well. Today was our second visit trying their pizza, which was also amazing. This will be our official pizza and sub Spot!

The food was pretty good. I ordered the Muffaletta sub. It was both flavorful and filling. The only problem I encountered was the service. I tried to call in my order so it would be ready to pick up, since I was out running errands, and nobody answered the phone on two separate tries. When I got there, the person who took my order seemed to be annoyed with me and a few other customers who were there. In my line of work, I totally understand if people come a couple minutes before closing and keep you there late, it’s frustrating. This guy, however, was acting like that with almost an hour to go. Come to find out there were a couple of other people working back in there, so why don’t answer the phone?
As I mentioned before, the food is good. I will give it another chance, as I would like to try the pizza next time. Service goes a long way. If that hasn’t changed, I will not return a third time.
