Ordered carne asada tacos (scarfed down before taking a pic) & the red enchilada that was available the Friday we visited. Appetizing, flavorful, and filling — just the right amount of spicy on a chilly day and not overly salty. The owner was welcoming and provided fast service. The restaurant has a lively ambiance within the charming mountain town. Highly recommend for a quick and satisfying meal near Cloudcroft!

I love this place! I eat here a few times a week and am never disappointed! This time I tried the Hamburger Mexicana which sounded really weird but it was amazing. My husband enjoyed it as well. The flavors really complimented each other quite a bit. The recipe was inspired by a popular place in Jalisco Mexico.

Ate outside. it was 2:00pm and all they had left was hamburgers and bean burritos. Both were wonderful. Green chilies added amazing flavor. Thank you! We will come back! Salsa was really good.

The attendants (which I think were the owners) were super nice. However, how in the world do they run out of food halfway through the day?!?! We went around 2:30 and they were out of everything except burgers. They did offer to make a new batch of meat for tacos. So we were able to order that for us and burgers ($13 each!!!!) for our kids. We noticed the price on the burgers and thought, ‘well maybe they’re out-of-this-world-burgers”. THEY ARE NOT. Save your money, they’re regular burgers with green chiles on them. Now, the tacos had great seasoning on the meat, very delicious but on a store bought tortilla not authentic. Apparently the enchiladas, that everyone raves about on the reviews, are super famous. They told us people order them a day prior even. I’m so sad I didn’t get to try them. Order ahead people!!!! Oh and they don’t have dine-in. It’s like a walk up window and you take it home with you or eat at the outdoor tables. Reminded me of a taco truck set up. Maybe one day I’ll be back in the area and I will definitely order in advance!! I will update my review for sure.

by far the best Mexican food in the area! The nachos are to DELICIOUS (get them before they sell out…they are THATgood) the enchiladas have so much good flavor and the burritos are *chefs kiss*

We got the birra tacos today and they are sooo good! She only makes them on Thursday, so get there early or you’ll miss out! But no worries if you do, there are plenty of other yummy items to choose from!
