While visiting Humboldt College with my kid, we came here a couple time to eat breakfast, by far great place to eat breakfast. Open 24/7 so we also came a third time for dinner & we had their cheese burger, definitely great too. I’m not a cookie nor pie person, but their pies are off the hook! Highly recommend this place. Looks like an old dive, walking in you are greeted right away with a smiling face, and a modern facility worthy of revisiting! Really enjoyed our lunch and dessert. The homemade original pastries made it hard to pick just one!

I’m a tourist to Arcata/Eureka area and I came here twice before leaving a review. First time I came was a few days ago around 8pm and it was sooo busy! We just took our food to go since there was no seating. Second time we came was today for breakfast and it was calm, and relaxing. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. No fuss food that is good, super filling, and you get what you pay for. Nothing beats that. Don’t miss a chance to try their desserts!

For a place that most people are sobering up at the food is amazing. The food is always been amazing. The restaurant is less greasy than it used to be. They did stop putting eggs (thnx Trump) in the pancake batter so they just crumble away. Staff is always more friendly than you would expect from minimum wage employees. Can be very busy and is a little intimidating as a newcomer, but staff is friendly. Food is standard, I personally didnt order any pies or desserts (except for one that really boosted this rating) as I prefer savory over sweet.
I initially came for a friends graduation in Humboldt, but one thing caught my eye. An added espresso shot in the milkshakes. I ordered a mint chocolate shake with the added espresso shot and it created such an amazing flavor as it added a depth and bitterness to the sweetness of the shake. It was good enough that I had to order it twice in my short 3 day trip.

We are on a trip and I honestly feel that this place was such a waste of calories. Their menus are in two completely different places so you don’t even realize there is a breakfast menu, then you order before you sit down so you don’t have time to look over a large menu (I should’ve known, a place with a large menu means nothing is fresh), none of their burgers come with fries even though they’re over priced. The guy taking our order was nice but after that we weren’t ask how everything was, if we need a refill on coffee or anything. The piece of pie was not good and for a place that seems to bake a lot I was surprised. The clam chowder was full of huge potatoes and the crackers that came with it were completely stale. After reading reviews it seems a lot of locals like this place, that makes me feel bad that this is their baseline of what a good restaurant is. Because it’s 1 star at best.

Tony’s is the ultimate comfort food. This is the go to place for breakfast lunch dinner and late night. We had a long day and didn’t get to eat until almost 930 at night. Tony’s is there open and has a wide variety menu for all of our family choicesI see is still at the local hangout spot for all the highschoolers too.

Called ahead for a take out order. Staff was friendly when I went to pick up. Burger was delicious! As well as my Thai Tea milkshake! I will definitely be stopping in again before going on the road to continue travels.
