We were in the area and hungry so we took a chance on this place and Im so glad I did. The best Chinese Cuisine I’ve had in a long time. The food was fresh, I ordered a dish w Shrimp and they were not stingy. Atmosphere was nice, almost as if you traveled to another country. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Nice portions. A bit pricey but worth every penny. I will definitely come here again

Nice Asian restaurant in Villa park. It is ina big plaza with lots of other restaurants. This is a mix of Chinese and Pacific island cuisine. Mostly it is Chinese food. The decor is mainly polynesian. Service was good. Not too loud.

This restaurant is a nice little gem. Aside from the gaming machines on the other side of the room, the atmosphere here was great and perfect for conversations. Not too loud or overcrowded. Our waitstaff was wonderful and friendly, happy to answer questions and help with menu selections. The food was delicious and piping hot. Generous portions of fresh veggies and tender meats in delectable sauces. Not overly greasy nor too salty. I definitely recommend!

We happened on to this place via Google Maps. What a find! It is in a strip mall, but once inside, it does not feel like a strip mall store front. It is cozy and Tikki. This is a nice sit-down Chinese restaurant with a cute and well executed decor. We always start with the Bo-Bo platter (I have seen other places refer to this type of combination appetizer as a Pu pu platter). The one had a cast-iron hibachi grill in the center to grill the meat. We had the Mongolian Beef, curry beef, and pepper steak with tomato. We all had plenty to take home.

Was in town for business. Ordered carry out and was extremely happy with the meal. Ordered the Bo-Bo tray 10/10 and chicken in garlic sauce 10/10. Excellent quality food. Highly recommend, I will be back when I am back in the area. Really great food!

this place is a hoot aesthetically. the staff were so friendly. the food portions are insanely large and soo delicious. our waitress even boxed and bagged up our meals. can’t wait to work on my leftovers for the next 3 days lol.

Don’t want to start with a negative thought, but, oh boy, one of the worst foods I’ve ever tried in my life. I actually got sick on the way home.
My family did not like it either..
crab Rangoons were so-so; still very burned in the ends, and not a tasty feeling.. Panda Express definitely carries better rangoons.
The seafood platter was so nasty.. I tasted chlorine in the “lobster” or whatever that was..
So disappointed ..

Please beware! I ordered an egg fu young along with a side a shrimp fried rice. From the sight of it I thought something was off. Extremely thick gravy. Almost like a brown and grey color fried rice was partially black. I couldn’t tell if it spoiled or because the seasoning were overpowering and its egg so ate it questioning each chew. The moment I stood up I IMMEDIATELY THREW UP. Nearly 4x something was terribly wrong. Please DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. If could help save anyone that’s what I’ll do! That happened at 7:55 it’s 11:40pm and I’m still curdled up sick! I’m going to the er tomorrow morning and I have saved the remaining food. I will sue them after the investigation is done!

My experience with Tong’s Tiki Hut has been stellar. I took a friend there for dinner who loved the food. Tong’s did not disappoint. We asked for a slight modification in the item and it came out perfectly. In fact, my experience was so good I went back for lunch, and then placed a large catering order for a family dinner. That order was also perfectly done. My guests really enjoyed the food. They are easy to find and have great hours.
