This is a fun place to try out Irish pub style food. I really enjoy the fish and chips which is a lot of food. Also the mustard that comes with the charcuterie board is amazing. They have good draft beers on tap. We appreciate having a place like this in Morganton. It is different from most other restaurants in the area with a unique style of food.

Great experience! We just went for an appetizer and drinks. Our server was attentive and made great recommendations. The Proper 12 Wings had the best sauce! The fries were thin and crispy! Both of our drinks were refreshing! Our drinks included the Paloma – the fresh squeezed grapefruit juice made this! The other excellent drink was the Gin Cooler – I loved the lime, cucumber, and mint combination! Get there early or expect to wait a bit! Definitely recommend!

Our first visit was tonight. We took two of our children (14 and 6). Atmosphere was chill and laid back, service was friendly and consistent. Food and drinks were Amazing. We ordered pretzel sticks and beer cheese, fish and chips, fish sandwich, Danny’s o’double smash burger, and kids chicken tenders with buttered peas. I personally tasted everything and it was great! Not to mention their delicious slaw, tartar sauce, ketchup and amazing ranch. Will be going back to try more!

My husband and I had a couple cocktails each, they were very good. For dinner we split the fish and chips- perfect for sharing and so good! I had the spinach and artichoke dip which was divine. I ate the whole thing by myself. Seriously the best I’ve ever had. I wanted to get the wings, but I just could not get past the Proper 12 whiskey sauce. It just makes me think of Connor McGregor, and I lose my appetite. I know he’s not a stakeholder in the company anymore, but that’s who I think of when I see that name.

Delicious food, and even better drinks. The atmosphere is comforting and friendly, and the staff is awesome. Not a unique experience, it’s amazing every time I come here and I’ve been here dozens of times.

Excellent food. Our table had fish and chips, the fish sandwich or the ruben sandwich. Everyone said it was well prepared and fresh. The waitress was personable and efficient. The only negative is the atmosphere. It is very loud in the dining area. It is hard to have a conversation with your table. Parking is also limited.

I would love to try the fish and chips seen in some of the reviews. They had a limited menu for the festival. We asked for the fish sandwich without the bun. At $18.00 price point I was very disappointed with the extremely small size of fish I was served. It was almost hidden by the Fries.
I have to update the review. I cut the fish in half so one could see it was as thick as a fry that was on the plate. I would have been equally disappointed if this was served with a bun.

WOW! What a great experience. We decided we would try the new restaurant in town. Toners Irish Pub. It is a must try establishment , the food,service,and atmosphere are all 5stars +.we had the charcuterie platter followed with an exceptional Sheppards pie and and excellent offering of bangers and mash. We finished with the Guinness chocolate cake. Service was spot on and very attentive.We even had visits from the owners to see how we were doing. The atmosphere is cozy and make you feel like your in a Dublin Irish Pub. They are going through a couple little growling pains like running out of a few items. This is not do to poor planning but instead from exceptional demand. Do not miss an opportunity to visit. I would rate it 5+ plus Worthy of a 1 hr ride. We will be visiting here again as we work our way through the menu.

We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious bangers and mash, as well as the perfectly crispy fish and chips. The Valentine’s drinks were wonderfully inventive and offered a refreshing twist on classic favorites.
