Reviews
This review comes after my second visit, and both times the kitchen delivered memorable plates. On my first trip, we ordered the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese an indulgent, decadent dish with rich, creamy layers. While the shrimp felt like a pleasant but nonessential addition, the lobster shone and could have carried the dish on its own.
On our return visit, the star of the menu made itself known: Tom’s Prime Rib Dip. Imagine a refined take on the classic French dip perfectly seasoned prime rib that leans slightly salty, paired with an au jus that is more reminiscent of a light, savory gravy. The balance works beautifully, with each bite offering depth and comfort in equal measure.
I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but these two dishes alone are reason enough to stop in. For anyone craving elevated comfort food with a twist, this place delivers.
We sat directly at the bar, face-to-face with the bartender, for the entire NFL playoff game and were never once asked if we wanted a drink. No greeting. No acknowledgment. Nothing.
What made it even worse? She was actively serving people on BOTH sides of us the entire time—taking orders, making drinks, opening tabs—while we were completely ignored. For some reason, we just didn’t exist.
The only drink we received was from the barback, once. Not from the bartender whose job it is to serve customers sitting at the bar.
And before anyone makes excuses—it wasn’t even busy. There was absolutely no reason for this level of neglect. Sitting at a bar during a playoff game, watching everyone around you get served while you don’t, is unreal.
To top it off, the bathrooms were disgusting—urine all over the floor and clearly not cleaned. If basic cleanliness can’t be maintained, that says a lot about the overall standards of this place.
Completely unacceptable experience. We won’t be back.
