Upon arrival, the foul smell coming from the food containers should have been my first clue.
Today’s disappointment was so off-putting that I’m not sure I feel safe enough to go back
Hence. Three stars
The 3 stars are from past orders that were cooked well, with fresh ingredients.
Because those orders had been so great, I would order on a regular basis and racked up a $10 credit.
I cashed in that credit and received 2 meals that had missing and incorrect items, were not as described, cooked improperly ( deep fat fried in dirty, fish smelling, rancid grease) and rotten ( spit out food in upper right hand of photo) meat swimming in fat.
No grill. No Teriyaki Sauce in sight and no fresh sushi.
I requested salad instead of rice and received double rice.
DD compensated me $14 in credits ( doesn’t come close to covering the cost of the meals) and I contacted the merchant.
The person that answered the phone is someone that I am not familiar with and I don’t think she understood what I was saying.
This food was so rotten and wrong, I’ve saved the containers and will be handing it back to the restaurant.
Sad, sad day.
It’s been a while since I’ve had good fried rice. Fried rice has gone downhill in quality these past few years in just about every Asian restaurant I’ve been to (I’m sure due to the insane price increases) but not this one.
They nailed it, you can tell they make the food to order and the teriyaki chicken is nice, and tender.
If you’re thinking about eating in just note they don’t have AC so it can get a little warm in the summer months.
Will definitely be back for more.
Edit: Came back 3 times, outstanding every time
This. Is. The. Place. I literally could eat here everyday (if I could afford it LOL) I’ve tried a good portion of their menu, but I always circle back to the Hot and Spicy Chicken, or the Sesame chicken. Dear God, it’s divine. They also have really good sushi rolls. Recently tried the Vegas roll. That was surprisingly very good! Also love their thai teas. We’ve been coming here for years and I’d definitely say I’m a regular at this location. The staff are super friendly as well, the gentleman I normally see / talk to is very friendly and very prompt! Kudos to the staff / chef. See you soon!!
We got Crab Wontons, Chicken Katsu, and the Chicken Teriyaki Premium Combo. There are six wontons with the order. The outside was crispy and there was a good amount of filling. The katsu came with white rice and a side salad. The salad was just cut-up iceberg lettuce, but the dressing was very good. The premium combo came with a three-piece gyoza, one egg roll, white rice, and a side salad. All the food was good, and we really enjoyed our meal. There are a lot of options out there to get Asian food and sometimes it all starts to taste the same. This place delivers good food at a reasonable price. I recommend that you try Tom’s Teriyaki.
