As a European I was yearning for a great Diner style experience, so what better than to try out the famous Seinfeld joint ? Recommended to me by a New Yorker.
They serve really excellent breakfasts. The poached eggs are marvellous. Great pancakes. Which I covered in maple syrup.
Friendly and efficient service.
I can’t wait to go back tomorrow.

Had dinner at Tom’s, the food was not great. I think paco is cooking again… The corn beef was dry, soup was salty, the Jerry salad w chicken didn’t taste fresh. However! The desert was great. If I ever go back it will be just for the desert. Shakes, ice cream. I went one other time during the day and the food was fine. Might have been just the time of day. The wait staff had some body odor. The place felt like they don’t care. Needs some TLC. Was hoping for the mackinaw peaches, but it wasn’t to be. Next time try a nicer place like Mendy’s.

Amazing experience to eat at this world famous diner. There was no wait to get a seat, the staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. Happy to answer questions about the origin of the business, asked us where we were from.

The food was really delicious, fast and simple but done well.

Would highly recommend!

You will come because you know it from Seinfeld and you will be delighted to discover that the food is also great. We came during rush hour but got the table immediately. Staff is really friendly, nice and helpful and food is awesome

I absolutely love this restaurant! Everything moves pretty fast, I love Seinfeld and the food is incredibly tasty every time! Some characters work there, but most discrepancies are easily dealt with and are worth the food, 100%. Ive gotten breakfast items and lunch/dinner items and I can never wait to go back. I love an excuse to go to Monk’s…. I mean Tom’s.. (seinfeld joke.) 10/10, highly recommend.

We had breakfast here before Columbia University your. The food is excellent diner food. The service is flawless! But more importantly, the staff and owner are kind hearted people and very welcoming. I imagine they have regulars due to the positive atmosphere. Well done. Btw I had no idea the outside was used for Seinfeld since I didn’t watch show.

Do not think you’re going to relive your favorite Seinfeld episode. The real diner and the show set are worlds apart. But for fans of the show it is a great place to go anyway. It is a nice, well run diner in a nice location.

I had a late lunch here. I think many people come for the experience, as the exterior was used as the site of the restaurant in Seinfeld. It is a fun New York joint with people packed in and a lot of yelling. You really need to come and be a part of history.I had coffee (why is diner coffee so bad), one fried egg, toast, potatoes, and hash for $17, which is pretty good for NYC prices.

I had medium expectations, I thought it would just be a gimmick because it’s the Seinfeld restaurant. But the food was awesome. I had a bacon omelette. The breakfast potatoes are bomb. It’s a nice atmosphere and the service was great.
